SmurfC T72A ERA upgrade "style"

I plan to make all some variants, T-72A/B/BW/BM for CWM Mod, if successfully all will develop, and then I shall see, can above other updatings I shall begin to work.

Just a little hint: Usually I do not include mounting screws and other little things in the model. A bumpmap provides the propper illusion (check the BI's M1A1 front side turret plate attachment in the m1abrams_1_nohq.paa or the wheels included in the m1abrams_3_nohq.paa). This reduces the polycount.

In all BIS models tanks, machines many fields are unjustified, therefore I try to alter maximal details, and at me it turns out, for example "moon".

As see a difference small, the model if becomes heavier that absolutely slightly.

looks nice ! i guess you can even save some faces by using normals instead of modeling every rivets on ERA bricks smile_o.gif

Kikill, I not on so much well know Oxygen, therefore please on more detailed(more in detail) about it... If it is possible to show in a photo that you mean.

@(A.T.R.F.): I have sent you a PM, including an example normal / bumpmap to generate the "illusion" of a rivet, including correct shading etc.

kikill addressed the same issue. This way, you will get a better ingame result with less polys smile_o.gif

This is not O2-related, but texture related and included in those _nohq textures.

Marijus,Partially old, has changed a little dimensions, and from old ERA remained only on one range, in photos the range of white colour,new is visible..

Yeah, those panels from (A.T.R.F.) have the correct size and placement. thumbs-up.gif

@Marijus: I checked the maschinegun effect yesterday, and the gun had no effect on the T-72 ERA (aiming at the back of the tank) wow_o.gif

May be an effect can be seen on the included T-72, because the armor definition is BI original.

Meanwhile I have released the latest binarized and signed version on the armed-assault.de forum, so I plan to release the unbin version plus reskins within this week here.

Sorry for the delay, but some projects got higher prio.

For me gives out an error at the load of game, an error is related to M1 Abrams,a at T-72 as nebylo tekstur so it is not, only gusenicy and DSHKM =( Well and in respect of my labour, that business inches, because it employment boring for me, today did a frontal built-in armour, plus the smoke settings did, well and koe that yet on a change. smile_o.gif

May be my M1 version slipped into one of the missions as dependency. I will check this. Also I noticed that the T-72 basic and rerskin pack binarized version are missing signatures. I will deliver them asap.

When I get you correct, only some parts are visible? The addon need extended eventhandlers to perform correct, in the case of active ECS mod, it needs the ECS Themis compatibility package to display the correct textures.

Damn good progress on the T-72B version. The front plate and smokers are realy perfect. thumbs-up.gif

Yes, I have moved the searchlight's position to match the ERA plates on the turret. My bad sad_o.gif

I have simply forgotten that the machine gun's position is now in conflict with the searchlight.

...bit strange that this searchlight is colored best example are those reskins from Deny Piranha. Anyway nice work with ERA looking forward to A.T.R.F. variants. smile_o.gif

NSXr, Yes, do I plan to replace DSHKM on NSV-T, but there is a small problem, I never did a shooting-iron, wanted to take NSV-T with RHS T-64, but did not turn out, why to invent a bicycle twice? Right?

Well, your tank will look totally unrealistic because of Dshkm. Current "in progress" version of RHS tanks use retextured NSV-T model made by Vilas - you should ask him about it. I'm more than sure, that you'll be granted with permission to use his NSV-T for this good project.
