Tack-Up 0 Posted April 23, 2008 Well the long awaited CH-46 is coming very soon. There are still a few bugs with it but remember thats why is it is a WIP. Picture: As you can see i still need to get some textures in there taht are missing. More info and pictures soon to come. This is an import from CSJ's Vietnam Era CH-46. It was reconfiged by Franze. And i am reworking the model and the textures. Note: This does not necessarily resmble the finishing product. LCpl. Burton

Commando84 0 Posted April 24, 2008 Seems ok, but it would be nice with some close up shots of the bird too btw will it come in armed and unarmed versions? maybe a UN version too?
Tack-Up 0 Posted April 24, 2008 @NZXShadows And the reason some close up pictures havent been done is because i still have to add some things to the outside of the model. @Commando84 UN no probably not. My main focus is on United States Marine Corps vehicles.
Commando84 0 Posted April 24, 2008 ok fair enough anyways hope to hear more about it in the future btw any chance for a openable cargo door in the rear?

Tack-Up 0 Posted April 24, 2008 For those of you: Reading is wonderful, it tells us that this does not necessarily resemble the finished product. Hence read.
xnodunitx 0 Posted April 24, 2008 Reading is wonderful, it tells us that this does not necessarily resemble the finished product. Hence read. What? Reading? You mean people should actually read the posts instead of looking at just the pictures? Are you mad?! I competely agree with you, reading is a great thing and it should be done more..and I don't mean just this thread. I'm curious to see how the more finalized product will look, once everything is set, curious though..when you say "reconfigured by Franze" do you mean that he modified the coding so it would work in Arma? By the way I know you mentioned the model is WIP, but I just wanted to mention a little tip for it. I can't tell if it is used in the second image or if the lighting just hit the right spot. But if you add an extra section (chamfer) or two for the ends of the frame above the landing gear it will help in appearence.
Tack-Up 0 Posted April 24, 2008 Thanks, ill have to try that. But like is said my graphics were tweaked down cause i was using 1.08 with the second. But the reconfigured part is the config and some really cool other features that you all will have to wait to find out what they are.
Dark SudoNix 1 Posted April 28, 2008 hey man just so you know, Phrogs dont fly with engine covers over the intakes!!! How is the engine going to get air? They have a mesh wire cover over the intakes to keep f.o.d. from getting into the engine. fyi
