It's there any way to generate a ban.txt with only 10 digs +, a program that makes all variables from 999999999(9 digs max) to 999999999999(12 digs max). Gonna be a looong list, but that way you are sure no one with 10 digs up to 12 digs can join your server..

If anyone can make a little program that make that ban.txt file, would be fine

Apart from banning whole countries you would need a terabyte HD or more. XP or Vista doesn't support such big files either. And the server would need ages to look through it when players connect.

thi is set to 112000000-300000000

however, i'd like to point out that there is only a citation of a presumable BIS reply that someone has got in their email or something. i haven't been able to find any direct official statement neither on these forums nor in the wiki. and i don't see any reason why BIS shouldn't publish such valuable info, it's in their interest after all. so, to me this still looks like a somewhat obscure piece of information...

Maybe the server owners just need to run the arma.exe instead of using arma_server.exe. If u use arma.exe it will denied users with illegal CD Key.

no version of 1.08 of my arma if you do -server it does not work thats why thare is a server.exe you must be on 1.06 or 1.05 or maby it is my us versions that it does not work on. ?anywazy i gave the keygen to suma so he can ad the ranges to ban to gamespy but i think im going ot go to atari now with it it has been 3 weeks now.

We like to play ArmA for what it is. The people that don't hack, spend there money to buy games. but obviously you wont understand that

It would be different if you actually made the hacks, to show companys where there floors are, and not release them to the public or even you use them for personal gain, which is very sad and immature.
