WOW! Good idea... I didn't think about thin red line, but you're right! This mission is the same feeling.

In the voiceovered version i inserted a new music to the outro of this mission, but it's from the Full metal jacket..., but ret thin line maybe better...

struggling on the mission to recce chemical factory.

any tips?

find the gap in fence but then stuck between 2 fences and either get shot by tower guards or by patrol!!!!

I really enjoyed campaign so don't want to get stuck here!!!!

Mission Capriccio:

You can use your silented weapon! Kill the tower guards and the others too. And - if you play in Cadet mode - save after every kill.

***SPOILER!!!***

I usually use that way where you are. But I - mission designer - know where the guards are and it's a handycap to me: there is a lone guard near the barracks where dogs are (at left), he could suprise you. The town guards are dumb. Because you see them first and you could kill them before they recognize you. When you arrive to the back fence of the compound, you must watch to right side too: over the compound there is a patrol. But inside are guards too.

I could be a very difficult mission, if you don't love the BlackOp missions. Not everybody love sneaking a few meter and then stop for a minute to check the enemy and the sneak an other meter...etc.

Very nice campaign, the dialoges, even with the spelling errors and without any sound files add alot of athmosphere and the missions in general are just fun to play. smile_o.gif

This is excellent work (maybe not the best, but certainly the most beautiful campaign wink_o.gif ), I very much enjoyed playing this all over again in the new version.

Very nice, only started the first combat mission, but this has the atmosphere and fun of a true campaign already. Much better than what BIS delivered.

I just found something interesting in the 7th mission (Nicest) when you advance up to the hill and after you call the Dealta (support) team by radio, my map started LAG. And I couldn't call arty support anymore, because if I change to map screen, the gameplay froze for 15-20 sec and then 1-2sec could I play and the froze again... sad_o.gif

And I afraid one of my scripts cause this.

But I have a lot of other problem with 1.08, so probably it's caused by something else.

Phenomenal job Bardosy, thanks for this great compaign... way better than the Armed Assault one. You no doubt have alot of talent in creating such missions.

I love what i've seen so far, bardosy!

Unfortunately, i can't get past the 2nd mission as the chopper just touches down then instantly launches up into the air again (using version 1.08). Guess i'll have to jump really quick next time... wink_o.gif

The mission looks great tho. Nice colours/atmosphere etc

This post contains minor spoilers so everyone that haven't finished this compaign, ignore it.

After finishing the compaign these are all the problems I found with it on v1.08:

1. At mission 2 sometimes the choppers lift off immediately after landing killing half the squad as they eject 50m in the air.

2. At mission 6 (i think, the ambush one), the chopper at the end did not land and I had to replay the mission to make it work (maybe one time problem). Another problem was that from the convoy only the UAZ showed up, then the large force came, and after dealing with that i went looking for the rest of the convoy myself. It was taking a break somewhere half between the base and the ambush position with everyone outside vehicles, again one time problem but it happened the only time I did not take the first base fast enough and had to kill off those mechanized infantry reinforcements.

3. Mission rating is always +1, no matter the score.

One possible improvement could be more variation in squad size and starting gear, which were almost identical all the time. Only minor changes. As missions progress more weapon types and gear should become available.

Compaign could have been longer too smile_o.gif But of course this is because it was a great compaign. More stealth missions, too much artilery support.

The end was dissapointing too, it was realistic (how could a small island declare war on the US) but it gave me the same impression like the Armed Assault compaign where the RACs were murdering civilians and they got away without punishment.

Thanks for this campaign Bardosy, I loved it. BIS have a lot to learn from you...

Just a general comment about the story line- I wouldn't go far up to placing the hero as the one that will finally reach the communist leader, viewing his killing and such. In my opinion, the way the campaign ended was about childish. It's fun enough just to play a PART of the war and not actually be the one the WINS it, if I explain myself clearly. The story will be better if it will be a little bit less pretentious, just playing as a leader of an (important) unit within the RACS army, commanding strategic missions during the war.

Apart from that, this is an excellent campaign and I would like to say thank you for putting such an effort to the community's enjoinment, I wish there were a lot more mission makers and maybe even talented as you. We have more than enough addon makers by now smile_o.gif.

I understand you, but I have to explain you my opinion too...

So I agree with you, I loved if the main character (the player) is not the leader of the grerat war or such else Rambo-style stuff... So Gomez is a very not-important person in this war. E.g.: Without the U.S. Army, the RACS couldn't win. This war win by the USMC and not the squad of Gomez. They are an aux force in an aux front.

But the History is twist everybody... A lot of important things (in the real history) is act by regular, non-important persons. Eg. the communist dictator of Romania is killed by noname guys. They was regular guys, like you and me, but they were in a good place in good time.

I mean the last mission is not impossible... wink_o.gif

OK. It's not too important, but I want explain you, how I agreed with you.

And thank you for playing with my campaign. I'm glad to you enjoy it!
