icebreakr 3159 Posted March 1, 2007 ArYeS posted his latest work in progress: FN F2000 for ArmA. He's just waiting for the tools to put it in the game, model preview shot: More info can be found here: http://www.arma.si/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1387
dob 0 Posted March 1, 2007 nice model, but how much poly ?
icebreakr 3159 Posted March 1, 2007 I believe his low-poly version is around 2000.
max power 21 Posted March 1, 2007 Now all we need is a model of Sam Fischer!
MehMan 0 Posted March 1, 2007 IceBreakr, tell him to convert the model into editable patch to get the triangulated version and the real poly count.
mcnools 62 Posted March 1, 2007 Now all we need is a model of Sam Fischer! Might be cool, but then again, you could just play the splinter cell-games instead, Sam would just get his butt kicked in ArmA
Blackbuck 9 Posted March 1, 2007 Nice work on that, got any of the flat top ones planned? Regards HH
max power 21 Posted March 1, 2007 Now all we need is a model of Sam Fischer! Might be cool, but then again, you could just play the splinter cell-games instead, Sam would just get his butt kicked in ArmA He'd play just like any other specops, only maybe being more stealthy. I don't think he would... but I was joking, I didn't mean to start a superman vs. godzilla argument.
Big Dawg KS 6 Posted March 1, 2007 Will it be modular/modable ingame? It'd be possible with the right scripting, and at the very least you could just have different configurations (which is actually one step to making it modable ingame). Also, any plans for an FS2000 (civilian version)? I don't think the 1.6x optical sight is too popular, most forces using it use the tactical configuration with normal optics mounted on the top rail. F2000 Tactical I have quite a few detailed pictures of the weapon too, if you need some more reference material PM me.
ArYeS 0 Posted March 1, 2007 Sorry, only this and silenced version planned, maybe I'll do others later. PS: Weapon has 4300tris, almost finished now (still without texture).

profe 0 Posted March 5, 2007 looks nice, a bit too shiny though.
Gux 0 Posted March 5, 2007 Good job! It's looking really promising. The specularity needs to be toned down a tad, obviously Are you going to add a spec-map to it? On that object it would have to be pretty subtle. But it takes away the shiny plastic feel when done right.
Talyn 33 Posted March 5, 2007 Looks fantastic! I’m glad some people are willing to try something other than m4s, m16s, etc... Don’t suppose you’d be interested in giving the tavor 21 a go?
icebreakr 3159 Posted March 6, 2007 FN F2000 is the main assault rifle of Slovenian Army, thats why ArYeS started with this project. We need the gun that goes well with our uniform pack Another our member is working in repainting the airunits to Slovenian camo. We still need working Cougar chopper, though
NoRailgunner 0 Posted March 6, 2007 Nice work and dont forget the FN F2000 with grenade launcher. agree with profe - weapon should be dark+black FN F2000 pic:
