I really like what I see of your work so far. Very cool stuff.

I've seen video of an LCAC that someone else is working on that also looks very good, and obviously from the replies here, there are several people working on larger ships. Especially aircraft carriers and cruisers.

The one thing that seems to be missing are small patrol craft. Your hydrofoil is one example that fits that role. Unfortunately, the Pegasus class has been retired by the USN. Any chance that any mod maker reading this thread would be willing to add some small craft to the overall mix under your mod?

I got a few good ideas for your navy, USS Essex, DDX,  USS JFK, and for frigates theirs the new USS ASHLAND coming out.

DDX - Newest Destroyer coming out.

USS Essex - LHD 2

USS JFK (JOHN F KENNEDY) - Nuclear Powered? aircraft carrier.

PS - Your ships look very good! i dont have arma yet but i cant wait till it comes out!

USS John F. Kenedy carrier is going to retirement in 2007 so it's not worth to be built better CV-75 and CV-76...

whatever Gnat's ship building company will decide, it woun't change my oppinion about this sailor's dream mod

um ..... pretty sure ... pretty sure the answer is NO.

I'll list just a *couple* of the things that don't work when porting from OFP to ArmA;

- Turrets are locked forward

- Animations don't work (which may seem small, until you undestand the tricks I'm using them for)

- Proxies are all different

- Certain colours produce transparent vehicles !!

- ArmA seems to "clip" large Resolution LODs

- etc

exe tool, un-PBO put the armA.exe addon inside then re-pbo it should work apprantly 50% of the time or something

I believe playing around with Arma.exe file is pretty much illegal and I doubt it'll work, at least I don't see what you're getting at. I do believe addons work as PBOs and not as an exe file manipulation, unless you mean an addon folder and shortcut command.

But fiddling with the ArmA.exe is illegal in most cases. At least if my memory serves me right.

And this ArmA.exe thing sounds like someones idea of a joke.

I suspect 25% of the time if you re-pbo an OFP addon .... it *might* by chance work in ArmA.
