Could also do collapsed houses and such for filling, spread the rooftiles, bricks, and stuff over the street so to speak...

Or just piles or sand, burned out truck wreck...

I have some rubble templates i made for vbs1 awhile ago.... never got around to putting them in o2 for all the arranging... here is a old screenshot

@Lasstmichdurch ---nice suggestions.... so here you are

......the last gates and doors set.... Lasstmichdurch had the comment to make a narrow and double door set for the larger gates....

Basically different ways to stack up your units when clearing the inner area of someones yard.

Looks like im going to have fun in o2 setting all these up.... smile_o.gif

How about a simple concrete texture for the walls? I mean those look excellent but, even though i was never in Irak, i think concrete or something similar is pretty common there, especially for walls. smile_o.gif

Concrete walls wont be a problem... I have 3 textures mods for the wall set already, a 4th one wont hurt.

old crumbly walls

fancy brickwork walls

shot up walls

and later this week

no worries I wont bother you or anyone else here at these forums anymore with large pictures.

you can close, lock, whatever you want with this thread....

I personally cannot be bothered with the time spent making sure every image is under 100kb.... my own fault for forgetting that this community is huge and servers must be really expensive nowadays to be able to handle so much data.

Well, this project has hit a wall as of lately... Forums are down due to the hack of ARMAMODS.net

I apologize to anyone recently registering there for beta testing. The pretools ARMA version is pretty much finished.

When the new tools come out i will add specular and Normal mapping to all objects. VBS1 users can PM me on the resources page and I can arrange to include you for beta testing if you want. The ARMA and VBS2 version will probally wait till the new tools are out....

Thanks for the update. It was disappointing to see that quiet period for the project. Looking forward to seeing this released in ArmA. It should produce some spectacular environments.

here is justa render of the same building repeated over and over again..... I may set it up so it can be randomized with versions with and without sat dish and mabey add one wilth lots of laundry hanging... And other versions with camo nets and lots of sandbags... The generic one can be placed all around the specific one you add in to your mission.

That building looks great!

Maybe it is also possible to randomize it by adding other colors of paint on places of the building or grafitti.

Im hoping to work with the details texture channel once the new tools come out... for now this will be the base texture... its still WIP atm. I have an IRAQI POLICE STATION version which will come after we test all the LODS and get that sorted out

can you have enterable and non enterable versions? Would be cool to have police station raids where some guys defend station and some guys attack it and it would have more tactical uses when you have windows and stuff to shoot from and rooms to hide in when the heat is on outside. tounge2.gif

Well for the most part this building is not enterable....but there are halways between floors which access the balconies on the different floors. The other buildings I made are all enterable and have a iraqi police station with jailcell. The insurgent version also has a jailcell for hostages.
