is functionality with the downloadable version confirmed?

i'm thinking it might not work with the same patch as the .exe is probably different

or it might ignore it aswell

Afaik the exe versions are the same: 1.1.0.5094

As the Czech and German are both that version aswell.

The Patcher doesn't look at the exe size, time etc, but only the version.

well i used version 6 of the patch and all i can say is i honestly dont see the problem, its so easy my 3 year old Nephew could patch it and i'm been serious about that. Also i would just like to say a BIG thanks to sickboy and all that helped make this patch. My games all in English now and works a treat cheers again.

I saw typos in some briefings. It says "thr" instead of "the".

Singleplayer mission "Attack Helicopter" or whatever it is called.

I've notice that also, so i started editing myself. Missing letters and other spelling mistakes. Easily missed though. Also mission 03 tutorial wasn't showing up right as a letter "z" in the stringtable next to language caused it not to show correctly. Works now though!

Good job sickboy and the translators. Could someone translate this as Shooting range has this not translated to English.

I found an easier way to translate, i opened up the .ogg files and played them back and copied the speech to text. Easy.

I should have thought of that in the first place. DOH!

BTW, if you are talking about translating all the radio messages aswell (the ones you say as commands to ur team etc), dont bother as they are already included inside the game

I download the german version and applied the 0.6 patch. Has anyone translated the keyboard configuration in the set up options yet?

edit: nevermind, I reinstalled the game and reapplied the patch. All fine.

Thx for that sickboy. I'm pretty happy with the tute' missions. Now for the single player missions.

Man the choppers are tricky to fly. Will have to erase flashpoint and battlefield flying from my brain and start over.

Servers that enable verifysignatures=1 in their server configs will reject clients that have this patch, as the files do not comply with the signatures. But as the patch seems pretty popular, and there might be a chance to change language differently in the (near) future, I dont see it as a problem as of yet.

Thank you very much m8! Updating the first post with the release of v0.8. Hope this was the last update to fix such bugs. Hoping to come to 0.9 or 1.0 with fixed texts though in a couple of days, maybe weeks.

Everyone can just install this over their currently patched system, if it was v0.7 that they installed sucessfully and without trouble.
