Alien Versus Predator Mod

Do the dropship and apc have animations, rocket pods on the dropship and gun turret on the apc?

Im not entirely too sure (im only a runner for the main guys) I believe the original intention was mainly the marines, aliens and pred, if the vehicles are usable, then i think they will only be basic (and nowhere near as complete as nephs will be)

hey guys check this out i am working on them and would like some help i have the models. the reason why i have done this is beacuse i cant wait any longer for the other uscm mod and i will pay somone to do the rest i will pay Å100

image hotlinking limit on these forums are 100kb and under...

do you just have those models, or did you make them as well? Very impressive stuff if so...

no i have a friend who did em i need help getting them in game i have the models. and sorry i didnt know about the 100 kb limit. and i am not trying to step on anyones toes by trying to recruit people to make this mod. my offer still stands i will pay people to make this mod happen. it would be easy if nephilim released hers i will be happy to donate a reasonal amount of pounds for her work.

Those models are excellent but their polycount must be ridiculously high.

id be carefull with what you post and say..

these models look exactly like doc proctors models

which are available for free..

aswell these have a polycount of about 14k per model

which is way to much for a game

also if you cant wait for the uscm mod i suggest you play avp..

ive been working on the uscm mod merely on my own for 2 years and never received much help (apart from some temporary things) so dont bitch around k?

im no machine

and sometimes patience pays off

hey yes these models arent mine i did in deed get them for free but i need help getting them into ofp i am sorry if i affended you and i am greatful for the work that you do ie: uscm i do understand the strain mod making does to a person. but i cant wait to get hold of a working uscm mod.

when i heard about the uscm mod i was like HOLY DOGSHIT!!!!!!!

beacuse i am a major fan of anything to do with aliens. if u need any help or anythink on the mod please pm me.

you think if you just give someone these models they will make it working just like one of uscm?

with all lods scripts and other features?

im a aliens /uscm fan myself

but aswell ofp is old

i wouldnt sweat releasing it for ofp because some features for arma or game2 will make things easier to implement for me/us.

however

Leesee... USCM weaponary and such...

PulseRifle - Can't see why this wouldn't work

Shotgun - Shotguns have been scripted, so it could be done

Smartgun - Could be done with modification of Shotgun script so projectiles are deleted and new projectiles are created in direction of Target

Flamethrower - Done by WW2EC (script heavy) and 40K mod (not as many scripts), both work pretty well Ingame

Missile Launchey thingy - No problems here

And of course, vehicles

APC - Not many problems here either

Dropship - DKM Comanche missile pod scripts and Meteorcrater's Wanzer's boaster script, possibley BAS Cargoscript (working as a helicopter)

And Equipment;

Motion scanner - A basic version (just sound, no interface) could be done using the getpos command

Flashlight - Could be done (FML NBC dudes whistle.gif )

i havent said they DONT work in ofp..

as a matter of fact we already made the things youve listed functional..

but as a matter of fact arma/game2 will surely provide

better engine capabilites that will reduce extensive scripting for sure..

and if you think you can do it better dave. well then..

if youd have followed the uscm thread you would have noticed that all of the things youve posted above dave have already been solved and implemented...

and that was like 1-2 years ago..

thats okay i was just curiouse thats all just i watched the dropship/apc film a while back and i thought wow thats never been done before. you a very talented mod maker in my book your up there with philcommando (the god of sqripts) well good luck with the game 2 mod
