Callsign 128 Posted April 2, 2006 to be honest id like to see Llauma's excellent sky pack, at the moment it looks like AA is using the same old sky features as used in OFP (with permission of Llauma of course!. bravo 6 0 Posted April 2, 2006 I hope they change/add the view effect using the joystick. what i mean is: when you pilot a chopper/plane etc.. using the joystick, you use the top button to look arround , ie, in old ofp when we use this "button" to look to sides the image return to center, its quite anoying if you wanna look in an angle like 35ÅŸ and keep it in that angle. The image should keep that angle and shouldnt return to center (foward view) like it does. I would like to see these improvement in ARMED ASSAULT. Plz. Thanks. You moving ahead fast and you discover an enemy convoy...then you can't give out the f*cking FIRE order because you start talking "One o'clock truck 100 - two o'clock bmp 200 - 112 o'clock Santa Claus one lightyear.......so when you would just like to target the damn enemy your character starts yapping and when it finishes you're on the other side of the island because you could not give a simple STOP command So less talk - more action in the tanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

You don't get the "radar" but I consider that a good thing too. I think tank commanders orders should immediately override or overlap the usual radio yada, yada, yada that goes on as someone suggested in some thread. Like a "GetUnitPos" command? How about a command to set the percentage of ammo in a magazine? Ex. [Player,"M16"] SetAmmo 0.5 = 50% of the mag = 15 rounds. No? And the muzzle isn't always going to be the same as the weapon, even if it only has one it could still be different. Also "Single", "Burst", and "FullAuto" aren't the only values you can get for burst, they too can be defined in the config and be named whatever the addon maker wishes them to be. Bayonets would be nice though, they are a standard issue weapon and their omission from ofp is a bit of an oversight. With them you'd also get the added bonus of wire cutting, good for a bit of sneaky beaky infil; much more sensible than presenting yourself to the guards at the front gate.
