I've been working on the island a little bit recently. I added a base a while back and more trees and bushes changed a bit of terrain etc.

I don't really have any good pics because I am still having trouble with certain textures.

Hi was wanting to know if i may release a small update the the LAV pack. Basically all i have done is add CoC UA support to the LAV-M's. I now have full working UA support. Features aren't much, need to do more research into how USMC employ their Artillery. Setting waypoint and moving, Fire When Ready or At My Command,Adjusting number of rounds, CoC shot effects are all included so far. CoC looks like they might impliment Shoot&Scoot as an option (looking at some of the scripts) into UA so if by some miricale they release UA 1.1 i will add this to it. Im sure its not to hard to do but it has taken me 3nights to figure out the scripting nightmare of the UA system so now i have it working to a reasonable standard (ie no more F&%$@*! errors) I dont want to mess with the scripts to much more!

Was wondering to everyone else in case he says yes, should multiple aimpoints be included( there arent on the m252 mortar) although with the LAV carring 99 rounds i dont see them running out of ammo to fast.

I've some questions, but as I saw in the topic, FK had enough

of some questions.So I'm afraid to ask it but:

when will m1a1, Harrier, CH46 or Super Hornet be released for OFP?

will those ever be released?

sorry if I'm the 45th that ask it in row, but I don't wish to read the whole forum, because it would take 2-3 years from my life biggrin_o.gif

Fisch told me that they will not be released for ofp but will be released for Armed Assault. Although this was a long time ago so maybe he changed his mind. But I also believe he has been very busy with school lately.

how can fischkopp be sure the addons hes working on will even work in armed assault?

hes spending hours working on those addons only with an assumption that they will work in armed assault.

please dont take me negatively, thats just the truth.

Hi guys.

@Airblade: that´s a suggestion by me that the addons will work in Armed Assault, but a highly possiable one.

And Jakerod is right. I´m very busy. I thought i could do something due the vacations but i got 1 test, 3 homeworks and a small military exercise till the end of march. And then Uni will go on. I still work on UMSC 1.4. but in very small steps ...

I was like to use these in a marine-based campaign that I'm making, and I'd like to use as exact vehicles as possible.

To be honest I've found almost all the vehicles that's needed, but some of them are a little "outdated", for example the Harrier I have. Anyway I'm really missing the CH46E Sea Knight, so IF anyone can give me a tip where can I find one, then I would be very grateful. smile_o.gif

I also reworked the HMMWV ... again. Version 3.0. Better shape ... grrr. I hope.

Hey something diffrent. After looking on my old M2 HMG .50 Cal i decided do rework it. I´m a bad weapon texture artist and the old M2 HMG textures (SEF HMMWV or the new M1A2 SEP) looked awful. Also it cinsist of a lot of tex.

So here is the reworked one and i must say i like it very much inlove.gif ... icon_rolleyes.gif

Here the LVS with 4 M27 rocket pods for MLRS and HIMARS rocket artilery. All LVS trailers will available as objects, so you can make supply missions like that.

"Get a LVS FPU and hook up the medical container trailer and bring it to base X. There you get the mission to hook up a trailer with M27 rcoket pods and bring it to the artilery at Y."

Just an idea.

I like the new M2 and its new real matte looking. Also the woodland textures in the LVS looks much better than in all your previous addons. Much more defined and less dirty. Good work wink_o.gif

M2 looks very very good, except the barrel where it either looks like the gizmo mapping went a bit wrong, or you attempted to texture it with a top and a bottom texture... the seam is quite obvious whistle.gif

@Messiah: I don´t know what you refering to, but the seam is not seeable on that pic, cos it is on the bottom of the barrel. And you see it only if you look really close on it.

dont get me wrong, im just offering some useful (or i hope so) criticism to what is essentially the nicest looking M2 to date - gizmo mapping of something as simple as that barrel (essentially just a cylinder) is very easy to do, and would make it look much ''cleaner' in its finish. It would also get rid of the slight texture stretching occuring on the edges (more obvious in how the holes in the heat shroud have become less circular, and elongated)

Thats not the barrel ... thats a device on it. A cube from the shape. The barrel itself has a apllied tex with gizmo. That thing was normal mapped. So it´s right for me.
