FFUR Incoming HUGE RELEASE !!!

Would it be possible to replace the BIS AH-64 with Franze's new AH-64A (1985 version)? I've found that to be the best Apache addon out there!

Yes it is the best,but you'll never see it in any replacement pack,why? People think their too good for it,they would rather use the incorrectly modelled BIS apache with the much less detailed interior,its their own loss though.

I've allready incorporated Franze Apache variant A instead of BIS one for the FFUR 1985 woodland pack but several people have asked to remove it ... I think Franze's apache's nice indeed , especially its cockpit which is fully controlable ... but heh.. we have to respect people's decisions .

Controlable? How does that work?

Does multi-player work well with FFUR? If it's possible that is.

We decided to withdraw the multiplayer part right now for several reasons, but DMA pack works perfectly online because it does replace only "Soldiers and weapons"...

I meant by "controlable" the fact that the apache's cockpit has an animated MFD, working Hud, and a bunch of other options,

ive watched the first few seconds of the trailer and i would like to know what that music is i could fit that in nicely to my campaign

also cant wait

oh even ive got FFUR complete.exe on my desktop it may not be the complete e got it even thought its named FFUR 5.0 (woodland) lol

I've just finished watching the latest video.

I am going to have to have buckets near my seat when I play this release, so I can more easily collect my drool.

Its a music file from the first Matrix movie, on the CD its track 4,song called

Rob D "Clubbed to death (kurayamino mix)" sure wish I could find the dern CD.

Hello,

First Thx a lot for your very very impressive work it's wonderfull inlove.gif . I've just one question and one remark.

The Question I've try to remplace the Anim.pbo by the DMA Work (Patrol Vesion) but the game still use Russian Anim and when you are prone the MOD still use the very very slow anim when you walk crounched. it's possible to change annim ?

The remark is for th diary it's very nice but the ruler on the rigth made the reading of the objectif on the map impossible she is very very disturbing.

If it will be possible to use custom textures to replace the textures in your incoming pack  whistle.gif

(Just i don't like to see Malden in "green" version tounge2.gif )

I mean, if the textures will be placed in one pbo like in FFUR 5 (woodland) beta or it it will be same Dta folder like in OFP with pbos for all islands

I just ask for it because i'd like to use my new textures for Malden (2048x2048) which will be released soon (i hope wink_o.gif ) with your GREAT FFUR PACKS notworthy.gif

Any chance of getting the ADF Steyr AUG into the mod instead of the WSE one? The Steyr is my favourite inlove.gif or indeed INQ's G36 replaced by B3L's?

I will check'em immediately to see if they do worth replacing the current used ones in FFUR.

This is due to the fact I incorporated 2 different anims for each side in the FFUR beta pack, but I withdrew this "method" in the goal to have only DMA NextGen + (relax patrol anims)/DMA Pistol Anim 1.1 for the upcoming packs.

It's a RAF CH-47... Not american.

Will the player still be able to lean with the newly revised "DMA" animations? I hope so!

Please note that my query is different from a prior and similar concern that I had regarding leaning, and which you already addressed by announcing that a future release of a FFUR mod will feature AI that are enabled to wisely use leaning along with the player.

My question is just concerned with the upcoming release.

Yes , you'll still have the abilities of leaning and rolling even with DMA NextGen Animations, btw, AI leaning and rolling scripts aren't very accurate and may be sources of CTD... If the VME mod will enhance a bit its scripts ... then maybe we will incorporat'em to the "extra config pack" wich would follow closely the upcoming release.
