Yeah. A lot of Kalashnikovs and the like are mutiliated with American (Or Western) sights. I've seen a few AKS-74Us with SUSATs and that kind of thing fitted to them.

About the western optics on AKs

Everything is possible, there are so many mounts availeable to fit nearly anything on a AK, for example Eotechs are extremely common on contractor AKs in Iraq

Well, it's a few years old ORCS addon so... well, it ain't that bad, as far as I remember. It's been a while that I've used, and I haven't held one in real life so...

I think that that EOTech fits the AK quite well, as you can barely see the rail and the sight is quite slim. Looks far better than a side-mounted (like PSO-1 scope) rail system with an Aimpoint on it... seen few of them, too. U-G-L-Y. Hmmm... the EOTech-AK, Maybe an idea for Sgt. Eversmann for his Specops weapons pack?

It is kind of funky to use Aimpoint (btw, this thing is not American) and Eotech on AK's. There are Kobras and PK-AS red dots that were designed for AK's. POSP scopes were not designed for AK anyways. It's just people put PSO's and POSP's on AK becuase they don't have Kobras or PK-AS'. AK doesn't need a scope, it is CQB kind of weapon, so longrange optics is not really needed here.

Also, where can I find RHS magazine names?

Then do it via "removeallweapons this" and add all the weapons you want him to keep afterwards.

If you're using the JAM soldiers, you need to add "_JAM" to the end of the weapon classname.

When I need to find the name of a weapon of my soldier, I type this in soldier's init field:

this addeventhandler ["fired", { hint format ["%1",_this select 1]}]

Then, when you fire the weapon, the name of it will appear at the top of the screen.

Or type this into the units init field, works for vehicles too.

hint format ["%1\n%2", weapons this, magazines this];
