I finally got csla and played it and it is very good notworthy.gif

It worked without the FFUR installed!

But it comes up with Vit's Mi-24 requires 1.95.

But I'm using the 1.96 ver.

But I can still play.

Hi, afther update the OFP again from the 1.96Beta to the 1.96 by BIS i could install the CSLA 2.10 mod & i've found a few bugs & weird things (installing only CSLA & NDM).

I really don't like those crouch walking anims, make me think that i'm playing with a parkingson sick, alzheimer sick or just a crippled mofo; my BTR-T's 1.1 screwed?! why?. This is not a CSLA fault, but i hope that some one has noticed that the CBT Crew units don't have the handgun proxye. What happens with the MIG-21 when u aim?. Also the sounds on the BMP's/MBT's/LAPC's, why u can hear the tracks as louder as if they were driving over u, while even beeing the gunner... u can't hear when the vehicles are walking "slow" (that's not so, slow...) the main gun, the misiles of the main gun reloading or the MG firing?; plus that those Kobra missiles don't should throw dirt over that beautyfull animal using her name; they should be called: 911 pig or 911 rat, because they stink. A rock it's more & better guided than those missiles.

The AK74's haven't burst fire mode (in the RL they have it) when i use te AK47/74 aiming from the sight i get 27fps in some places of the mapfact nogova; if i take (in the same place) a VZ58 or however it's called... my fps go down until 8 or 10, why?. And well... i've been kicked out from the game while i was in the editor & i've tryed to put & try a resistance T72M & the OFP told me "error, missing texture". Also the M113 M2 sight isn't utile, u can't aim with that. But well, the textures in most of the units look good, the models unless the russians look good & all the weapons that don't use BIS sounds/sights sound good too. Let's cu

I got this same bug when playing the Operation Paranoid campaign yesterday, I had never noticed it earlier when testing though.

This is not a CSLA bug, i noticed this bug a very lot during what i am doing in the dynamic mission alliance, with any kind of helicopter. (at least when helicopter and pilots are created on the fly in a mission)

It seems from my tests that this visual bug will occur when you teleport ( "moveincargo") units inside of a chopper.

And it will depend of the orientation of this chopper (fly in a direction, all seems normal, if the helo turn to another , visual bug happen).

No idea why it does not happen when units normally "getin" such chopper.

But that's not a bug breaking anything in a mission, just a minor visual artifact.

all in all this is bringing me great joy, and making me rediscover why ofp is so great. yay.gif

The only issue i have is minor, but an annoying one. You cant see the at3 on the launch rail on the bmps, FDF did, BAS did with their tonal pack, any chance we can see this implemented on the CSLA bmps?, it, for me, detracts from the immersion.

other then that and the weird smoke on the choppers it is all good so far. thumbs-up.gif

(I do have to run it as a mod folder, as it was the only way i could get it to work?)

the ak-74 doesnt have burst mode that was a mistake by bis, look at the rhs weapon pack, earls weapon pack for the marines/navel inf or the icp weapon pack and you will see none have burst mode. the only modern russian rifle to have burst i think is the an-94 akaban.

with kobra lockon to the target and aim slightly above it

We will make small patch in near future for improving performance and create config for very low CPUs without effects.

that's NOT low spec, but it still lags! and the point I think you guys fail to see: I am not the only one! Allot of people have perfectly fine rigs, but somehow it still lags the sh*t out of us! crazy_o.gif

Thank god it's not so bad with single player missions, but some of the campaign missions were crazy_o.gif Ë› ! sad_o.gif

Good luck with that patch, I hope these great (cinematic wise?) campaign will one day become playable... huh.gif

haven't tried any of the campaigns yet, just one hind single mission and done alot of mission editor testing,

the crouch walking is very cool and you can almost feel the heavy burden of the equipment and soldiers way of walking slowly crouching wow_o.gif

the crouch walking is one of the many things in this mod that made it a keeper for me inlove.gif

low downs is that the mig-21 is to wobbly or something crazy_o.gif i don't know how i can explain this in english but it makes me think about the first jet aircrafts that was made for ofp way back in the old 1.46 days and how painfully they could sometimes be to fly and especially after you made a few turns and ut suddenly looses control and spinns to the ground confused_o.gif

Gandalf have you tried to run the mod not using the standard .exe . But instead use the old CSLA2 link or make a modfolder OFP link not using the -nomap command I run a 1.3ghz and 380 mb ram and i can run it for most parts with out lag.

I don't know if this was mentioned before, but can you change the tank ammunition to APFSDS as primary for the T72 tanks? It's no fun fighting with HEAT against M1A1 tanks (I've played the SP mission)

Also there's another little bug: the Sabot ammo is called APDSFS but the correct one is APFSDS (Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot), so just a name change wink_o.gif

same rig almost, but use HT 3200 Prescotts... and im down to 3fps in the cutscenes and missions at some points...

i've never had this problem with FDF etc... its a big shame, since i think this is an excellent mod, but ended up unistalling it out of sheer frustration due to the lag...

Have anybody experienced BSOD after a random time, using this mod? I think it's something with the FlashFX thingy because FX2.0 did the same... huh.gif
