I am pretty certain that if you would post the same question on the OFP (2) section of the Codemasters forum, that you would get the same result (unless Codemasters orders all their employees to vote, and I am sure they have better things to do ).

At least CM said they would try to make a realistic military simulation. IMO that is something that deserves our support.

To be honest, i'll probally end up buying both, but i forsee BIS's game being the better of the two...

Why?

Because they have the experience, knowledge and team to hopefully produce the only sequal to Flashpoint that i need... Codies dont have that experience, and i doubt their attempt will be as good... but we can only wait and see...

I don't think that many people will mod for CM game. Everybody is so used to OFP engine that any other engine will just be annoying.

Now all we have to do is to find the 5 guys who voted for CM game and kill them. Since those are most likely CM employees that gather info on what people want from OFP2 killing them will cripple the development of the game....

I will buy both... Only reason is because i Like codemasters contact to the fans better than bis (none).

On the other hand, I know BIS ofp2 will be great... So, as said.. ill buy both

I have just read that 1C , the makers of IL2 have retracted the game Wartime command , and will now release it themselves . From what i can tell CodeLoosers are floundering , wish i lived in Leamington Spa , i'd post them some dogs**t every day .

would be logical, Aras being "thesame game" ,with a new campaign (and backward compatible = four official campaigns?! PLUS RETALIATION?!)

Plus, with Aras they'll set a new name, a different one then "Flashpoint"

um.... is codemasters making an ofp2 on its own? I have yet to read about that. Confused about the bis or code.

anyways.... codemasters is just another EA, and I wouldnt trust them making a good game, they would probably want to copy bf2. I'd go for bis.

If BIS rolls out a crap-game I wont buy it, if codemasters do it, I wont buy it either.

Then it doesn't matter what company who makes the game, aslong as the quality of the game is good.
