Transparent Water by Voyager

It worls here when I choose OWP water variant 2 to 4, but with horrible lag even on desert island and 1 unit  

I take this back. The lag was causes by something else, there was application running that 70% of my CPU resources.  

It runs smooth now.

he was downloading more of that porno-graphy.

that usualy takes up alot of resource i shoudl know becuz... a guy, that i know.. umm yea he told me that it uses up alot of memory. yea. guy i know. him. hes the ony that told me that. i dont do it. i just found out from him

No, it's something strange, when I start my comp ,explorer.exe takes allmost all my resources. When I shut it down via the taskmanager, I loose my taskbalk, but when I re-run explorer by a run command, everything is back to normal.

I solve it this way for now, but a format should better.

I cant run this thing , i installed it and added it to my shorcut line but OFP simply freezes and wont move past the load screen .

What do i do? Btw i am also running llaumax simultaneously with it.

@Acecombat: it does not work via shortcut, you have to use the run ofp option of the configurator.

it is worth a try at least, also there are still some bugs that need to be fixed

I did that as well and it gave me some error called .... 'wrong version'

you have to use the "official" 1.96 version (don't fear it, it also does not demand for a cd) look for the link extraction gave in this thread

I HAVE the official 1.96 version. It doesnt require CD as well so i guess i have it right there.

EDIT: Thats the GOTY patch i dont have GOTY so why do install it?

trust me I thought first too that I had 1.96 and i had 1.96 but for some reason it didn't work so I thought lets download this one and installed and than run transparant water and it worked.

Wrong version error is what I had too m8

when i try to install i get a "file acces denied" error after a while...

anyone knows how to get around this?

Umm i am very skeptical with my OFP's installation because one screw up would mean a complete reinstall which takes time and i am not willing to do right now.

Now i have 1.96 beta already installed so my OFP is uptodate but extraction says i gotta d/ld it again , now i am confused which one do i have to get and what DIFFERENCE will it make? Will it overwrite my beta file or something or will it refuse to install? DO i need to delete my current 1.96 beta file?

what ofp version do you have, i mean goty or resistance addon ?

and normally it does not change the 1.96 beta version you can still start your game via that, but now the official version, the resistance.exe gets patched up to 1.96 (no CD needed even it is official!!!)

if you use a unit that has his own eventhandlers you will not be able to see the water. you will have to add the the necessary eventhandler in the config of each addon
