As i was searching for a ref model to assist me with the e-wing I came across this http://www.sicqnus.com/imagaf/ewingz1.jpg which I based the e-wing v2 on and yes there is a door that slides opens to reveal the r2 or r7 slot but I chose to leave the droid exposed. When all is said and done, I'm fully confident that it will be THIS modding endeavor that will truly convey for the first time in EVERY possible way the sheer scope that is Star Wars. I MEAN that! Just look at those highly detailed, exquisitely modeled clone troopers. Don't they just look splendid? "Yes," they do! Now look UP above their heads. No, that's not HIGH enough. Look HIGHER. See those wondefully rendered starships way up in the sky? Those are Acclamators BABY. They are HUGE. If just one of those Acclamators came down where those beautifully made clone troopers are standing, it would squish them FLAT into some not so pretty goo. And I mean, squish them REAL good. See that pretty TIE Fighter parked on top of the landing platform? Look DOWN some. No, look FURTHER down. See those TINY green pointy things? No, those aren't green toothpicks. Wake up son! Those are fully grown TREES; an entire freakin' FOREST swallowed up in the shadow cast by that gigantic landing platform. You can walk around every single tree that's in that forest. See, now THAT's what I'm talking about in regards to GaW being the first FULLY realized and rendered Star Wars game"world." It's just plain amazing to realize that we can LITERALLY be a tiny human walking around the forest and then we bump into a skyscraper-sized support strut for a landing platform. And then we can pilot a starfighter on top of that platform, and zoom ALL the way up into the sky, and fly around and above MASSIVE nearly mile-long capital ships that will be exchanging fire with other capital ships. We then turn the nose of our starfighter towards the ground, fire off some proton torpedoes at a gigantic walker, and then we strafe some poor PUNY infantry that's pointlessly searching for cover way below.
