Stendac 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Hey, I found something else interesting in the Wikipedia article on Hezbollah. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hezbollah Quote[/b] ]The Hezbollah Central Internet Bureau in 2003 released a Video Game[63] titled Special Force, intended to simulate Arab-Israeli conflicts from an Arab perspective. There's even a video clip of some kids playing the game. "We learn from this that anyone who occupies my land- I should kill him and get my land back." Now that's all well and good, but I bet its trying when some fucking 14 year old prick keeps tk'ing you with his suicide det pack while spamming "ZIONIST!!!!111". xawery 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Lol, it seems that the open source engine (Genesis3D) has been hijacked by all kinds of nutcases... Take a gander at this: Quote[/b] ]Genesis3D is an open source project to create a real-time 3D engine for Microsoft Windows. Notable games include: Catechumen, a Christian-themed first-person "shooter", developed by N'Lightening Software, Special Force an anti-Israel game developed by Hezbollah, and the declaredly racist computer game Ethnic Cleansing developed and distributed by Resistance Records. Garcia 0 Posted August 11, 2006 WTF? Christian FPS?I think those words should never be next to eachother. Â Hey, many christians look down at wimen and gay people, they used to burn people because they were "withces/wizards", they used to burn people who said stuff that was true (like that the earth isn't the center of the solar system), they sometimes went on a crusade and killed a lot of people and they went out to make others christian (and used violence sometimes, if people refused to convert). So when they didn't see any problems with any of that, they surely don't see any problem with a FPS game

I did like this comment though: My dad only watches fox news and listens to am talk radio. its beyond all help it really is.there is no words for such a sick and retarded claim.he must be related to the lose change guy who thought the twin towers fell down because of explosives planted at 3 meter intervals in the frame work ,then showed a video of just 3 little tiny puffs of cloud exiting a vent .lol i am glad i am in the middle. the right is plain evil and the left is in denial. Mr_Tea 0 Posted August 12, 2006 I don`t get it. The UN will send 15.000 man into southern lebanon, without a robust mandate. Didn`t they learned anything from this UNIFIL debacel? This is rediculous.
Nemesis6 0 Posted August 12, 2006 the right is plain evil and the left is in denial. I want you to explain that to us. Why is the left in denial and why is the right "plain evil"? By the way, do you think I am an evil person?

The fact that you put "plain evil" between quotation marks and not "in denial" is rather tell-tale.

Supah 0 Posted August 12, 2006 Well I dunno if all of you heard the speech just now from Nasrallah on CNN. He said that Hezbollah would accept the cease fire BUT, and I believe this is critical, that Hezbollah has the right to resist Israel aslong as it is occupying lebanese territory. It is my believe that he is not talking just about the recently reoccupied areas but also means the Sheba Farms area. This disputed area belongs to syria according to the UN and has been occupied by israel for a long while now. Hezbollah however has claimed that this is Lebanese territory, this was their excuse for not complying with 1559 too (partly) This gives him justification, though not very legitimate, to continue violence against Israel. Men like Nasrallah have nothing to gain from peace, the war gives them status and power, once peace comes they return to being the village idiot, why stop the fight if this is your future? Edit: You can check out the text of the resolution here Reading through the resolution this looks like a big defeat for Hezbollah, the Lebanese government is again told to reassert its controll over the south of the country, per resolution 1559, however this time there will be a UN force to support this effort. Also, Â Hezbollah is called upon to release the IDF soldiers unconditionally, so no prisoner exchange as they originally wanted. If this resolution becomes fact then Hezbollah has lost the war. xawery 0 Posted August 12, 2006 So what's the problem? Have Isreal give back the Sheeba Farms and dampen Hezbollah's impetus. As a matter of fact, this move has been suggested previously by a high government official (whose name I forget, I'll try to look it up), but it was sadly disregarded.
Supah 0 Posted August 12, 2006 Or Hezbollah could be reasonable and accept that the Sheeba Farms was never part of lebanon and never will. And even if the SF area gets returned, I would be willing to bet 2 euro's that Hezbollah will find a new reason to continue the violence.
xawery 0 Posted August 12, 2006 Certainly, warmongers always find a reason... However, if all the 'viable' reasons for violence are removed (such as the Sheeba Farms, occupation of Israel) Hezbollah will have a hard(er) time convincing the Lebanese civilians to support them. Which such massive military support from Iran and Syria I doubt it really matters what the Lebanese people want. The majority just wanted to life in peace and hezbollah still went forward with its plan of which it could have reasonably expected israel would react in a violent manner. It is now time Hezbollah was disarmed. I hope the UN shows some backbone this time.

xawery 0 Posted August 12, 2006 Well, Xawery, being in denial is less serious than being evil incarnate. I bet it is, but putting something between quotation marks suggests that you doubt it's truthfulness. Quoting something as-is suggests that you agree with the quotation. You put "pure evil" betwee quotation marks. In other words, you seem to acknowledge that the left is "in denial", and question the statement that the right is "plain evil". Note the quotation marks. I question both.
Bernadotte 0 Posted August 13, 2006 Â I don`t get it.The UN will send 15.000 man into southern lebanon, without a robust mandate. Didn`t they learned anything from this UNIFIL debacel? This is rediculous. Firstly, 15,000 troops is about 8 times more than UNIFIL had before. Secondly, their will be an approximately equal number of Lebanese troops, increasing the total force strength to around 16 times what it was before. Thirdly, this time the IDF will not withdraw quickly by surprise leaving a power vacuum as they did in 2000. Â In fact, their South Lebanese Army allies didn't even know they were withdrawing in 2000. Â Many SLA fled into Israel while others were captured by Hezbollah along with their arms and equipment. And even if the SF area gets returned, I would be willing to bet 2 euro's that Hezbollah will find a new reason to continue the violence. Only 2 Euros? Â Â You're a lot more confident in Hezbollah giving up the gun than I am. Â I'm much more curious about the peacekeeping force's reaction if/when Hezbollah acts again.
