Messiah 2 Posted March 17, 2005 strange... i saw it being sent up north only a year ago or so... was deffinatly one of ours (number plate being the give away) perhaps going up to a show/military museum of some sort... jag - know exactly what you mean about different texturing styles - with our WMIK i was modifying the original landies by lilty - meant i had to forge his texturing style hard work indeed as kooky said - can't have enough brit kit - i wish we could do more but there is so much out there its hard to cover it all... can't wait to see what you come up with... i shall trawl through my collection of pictures as well for anything useful
DKM Jaguar 0 Posted March 17, 2005 Thanks for the links so far, swift yours was very helpful. The model so far (made in O2) The front's giving me trouble, but I'm pretty pleased with the rest. A number of innacuracies to iron out. Tracks are Combat!'s. Need to get their permission again.
Guest RKSL-Rock Posted March 18, 2005 I have a Rapier FSC and Blindfire in the works...somewhere Once i finish this course of treatment i'll dig it out again.
dabitup 0 Posted March 18, 2005 Gosh, your quick work on the rapier has taken my breath away! How long did you work on it? An hour or 2? It looks great!
BraTTy 0 Posted March 18, 2005 Wow Mr Jaguar has turned out to be quite the addonmaker.May DKM live on !!!(their DKM Bronco was alot of my inspiration) Aren't you like 17 years old? Nice stuff
DeLiltMon 0 Posted March 18, 2005 That would be great, Google's not coming up with much of any use. Especially the shape of the front of the cab. Â I'll dig them out when I get home from work. Going from memory, I think you've got the front end pretty close, I think the box-like structure may be a bit squarer and overhang the front, but the pics will show that better than I can ever describe it. DKM Jaguar 0 Posted March 18, 2005 Wow Mr Jaguar has turned out to be quite the addonmaker.May DKM live on !!!(their DKM Bronco was alot of my inspiration)Aren't you like 17 years old? Nice stuff 18 Dapitup it was about 2-2.5 hours. In those pictures it's very, very, low poly (1.5K ), since then I added a lot more detail to the roof and launcher, those smoke launchers are going to be a pain (unless O2 has some sort of mirror function) . Rockofsl: good to hear, so it looks like the static versions are covered too. Thanks DeLiltMon, the pictures will be appreiciated.
Cpt. FrostBite 0 Posted March 18, 2005 those smoke launchers are going to be a pain (unless O2 has some sort of mirror function) Of course it has a 'mirror' function. You just select and copy/paste it. After that you hit one of the two mirror buttons (either veritcal or horizontal) and drag the object to it's correct position. DKM Jaguar 0 Posted March 18, 2005 I said I was crap at modelling. Thanks

Don't forger to reverse the faces (w?) after doing a mirror, I won't mention how lont it was before I noticed the mirror buttons
DKM Jaguar 0 Posted March 18, 2005 I know it's bad practice to post shots of untextured models, but I'm quite pleased with it. http://jaguar.gotf.net/midrapmod2.jpg http://jaguar.gotf.net/midrapmod1.jpg
