cozza 24 Posted February 25, 2005 Oh dear some problems I found. 1. Near the end the guys shooting and the shell are coming out of his hand 2. The person standing in the door shooting. Now that's propley the player who dosnt know how to play
iNeo 0 Posted February 25, 2005 Looks good but this kind of games always have a limited number of missions and then it's over.
DracoPaladore 0 Posted February 25, 2005 Oh dear some problems I found.1. Near the end the guys shooting and the shell are coming out of his hand  Maybe it's just an issue they have yet to fix. Don't get all too riled up.
dmakatra 1 Posted February 25, 2005 Looks kinda shitty to me. Too much action, too little realism. Could be fun in MP though.
Billabong81 0 Posted February 25, 2005 Looks like it could be alright...but as iNeo said, it will only have around 12 missions, then the game is over.

stevevcb 3 Posted February 25, 2005 Hmm. The fact it's due out of the PS2 rings alarm bells for me. There's a big difference between PC realism and console realism... I mean, look at the Rainbow Six series now Still, it might turn out alright. I hope it does, if only because I'm sick to the back teeth of almost all tactical shooters being about US forces. rats404 0 Posted February 25, 2005 Well, the video shows Johnny Mac and Eddie Stone (I think, he's looking a bit porky). Â JM was on the assault team on Op Nimrod and is a good bloke, but ES is a bit of a... So they've got advisors who know their stuff, but how much that affects the final product is a moot point... stevevcb 3 Posted February 26, 2005 Aye, if there's one thing that can save this game, it's MacAleese's fantastic moustache.

tankieboy 0 Posted February 26, 2005 So I guess this is just based on the CT Ops. Could expansions cover other Ops I wonder... Looks OK but It better come with a good Mod kit to help it survive past said missions. Then again someone will just make l33t Delta's.....
shadow 6 Posted March 2, 2005 Looks like a polished Ravenshield to me. To be honest I expect R6-4 to have more features and look better than what I saw in the Regiment trailer, which means Regiment is atleast one year late.
Jinef 2 Posted March 2, 2005 One major problem - Unreal engine ... I think it's gonna be crap.
shadow 6 Posted March 2, 2005 One major problem - Unreal engine ... I think it's gonna be crap. Why is that a problem? The Unreal-engines seems stable enough to me with very good performance for the kind of rendering and processing required for these types of games.
stevevcb 3 Posted March 2, 2005 You may as well slag it off for having a G in the title if you're going to say "oh, it'll suck because of the engine."
colt 0 Posted February 17, 2006 Just thought I'd bump this, seeing as the game is out in some countries. Someone on SimHQ has it and (hopefully) is going to post some impressions later on.
