How does it work? (I didn't download it) Camcreates it above the target, or something else? The thing is... I am working on a "Patriot" TMD, so I'm kind of interested in SCUDs right now. smile_o.gif

You seem to have run out of bandwidth my friend!  I think I was the last person to download the addon, as immeadiately after the download finished I went to the screenshot page and looked at 1 shot and then the site went down tounge_o.gif.

Is it possible to also make a version of this SCUD with a regular conventional HE warhead? Most of the missions I make don't require nukes. I just need SCUDS that will do some dammage on cities and bases to simulate the SCUDS used in the Iran-Iraq War. That would be really fantastic if you could make some of those!

At any rate, when I get home I'll test out your nuke SCUD for bugs. But it looks really nice. Good work!

There used to be a nuke addon that caused electrics includeing cars to stop working due to the electro-magnetic blast.

Public testing... well... hate to present bugs, but I think it's intended for them to be pointed out? Hope I'm not wrong with this... well, the driver position isn't correct on the vehicle, I'm afraid... sad_o.gif

I'll have a look at the bandwidth issue.

The screenies, site and forums are on one server and the addon itself hosted on another entirely seperate network.

Thank you for spreading the word.

We are currently looking at implementing a conventional warhead, and adding a chemical one.

CTI with nukes should be quite fun, I agree... :P

Are NBC units so far released in OFP immune to radiation? I mean, I launched a Scud at a place 3km away and still died from the radioactive fallout, after a while... wow_o.gif

I noticed one bug - when you choose to launch the scud and wait too long, causing the time to 'expire', you can't launch the scud anymore.

I'll try and get that one fixed ASAP.

A good starting point however is to not let it expire :P

Also, this script doesn't care whether you are an NBC guy or not.

If you're in range, you're dead.

I also noticed that the mushroom cloud appears NOT where the missile hits the ground. It's about 100m away!

I'm dealing more with the PR side of things at the moment.

It will later be attatched to the dust clouds, so it will be as far as they go.

As for the impact and mushroom cloud issue, I'll get that looked into. It's probably due to the inaccuracy we've put into it: The scud won't hit precisely where you tell it to.

It could well be that one component is getting spawned where you select and the other at the inaccurate location.
