sanctuary 19 Posted February 3, 2005 2, how do you get the sniper units to build camo nets? I don't get an option on the action menu. You must use the PLA units that are on the Resistance side , the PLA snipers on the East side do not have that camouflage action. the_shadow 0 Posted February 3, 2005 ok, final post, i have tested every possible setting i dare to change in every possible location... i still cant get any fireing sound on the maingun on the tanks.. it has to be something wrong, possibly a strange sound formate that my soundcard doesnt support.. anyway, i hope you can take a look at it and maybe test a new soundfile formate in the next update... i dont want to miss these addons as they are great... and i use everything exept the tanks. becouse everytime i do, first of all i dont here them shoot, i just here the explosions from the shells and that sounds like my subwoofer is ripping apart.... last time i had this problem i had "bass boost" enabled, now i dont... so please, take a look at the bass level in the soundfiles while youre at it.. thank you. TonyRanger 0 Posted February 4, 2005 Ok,the_shadow,I'll tell our member to change the sound formate (because same problem on my firend's comptuer,even Mine works) and welcome to use my script,it is my honour,but if you really want use it please use dammage and shock system ,soldier's armor system and the CQB AI. If you do that,we have more units can be used togethet(becasue in same system so that we can say it's fair) and the Tear Gas Grenade and others can only work under res' PLA ,USMC ,Russian Naval,EDG_res in the update1.01 I think many bug will be fixed in 1.02 soon Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

When clicking pla special forces that have the flash or other nades i cant pick between the nades i dont have them and when i play the addon pla special unit i get this MISSING ADDON vme_events and no nads PLZZZ some one can u help me out man i wont to use the nades baddddd Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

miles teg 1 Posted February 6, 2005 The tear gas nades are on of the Black Ops guys on the Resistance side. Hopefully in the next update they'l putl all those cool features on the East side PLA troops as well. Nevertheless I must say that I'm extremely impressed with these new features. It was super cool seeing the weapon fall out of a PLA soldier's hands when I shot him. Of coarse then he tried to pick the weapon up again so I shot a few more times. Bad move on his part. I can definitely see plenty of very cool missions with these guys and ROC3 mod or against US forces. Definitely a worthy opponent for Suchey's Marines or the BAS or HYK Delta/Rangers. miles teg 1 Posted February 6, 2005 Tony Ranger, can this new AI script be used globally? That way it could be used with any other addons. But if not that's cool. Have you guys maybe tried working with the ROC3 Mod Team? Andy Lee is a really nice guy from my experience talking to him. He's been very helpful helping my mod team. However I don't know if there are political reasons that you don't work with the ROC3 mod. But I think that both of your mods are wonderful and it would be very cool to see your two teams working together with your PLA forces replacing the ROC3 PLA forces, but with your scripts being incorporated into his Taiwan Defense Force units. Right now I have both of your mods in the same mod folder. Your custom animations are also just superb. I love how the squads run forward and then take a knee providing covering fire as other soldiers rush forward. This is some of the BEST AI actions I have ever seen and I congratulate you doing an incredible job. Your AI system is a great break-thru in OFP! At any rate, if your team leader says "No" about putting these new units on the EAST side, then I guess thats ok. I will live. Right now I am very happy with what you guys have made. miles teg 1 Posted February 7, 2005 One bug I noticed was on the hovercraft it seems to be missing its textures past the 1st LOD. Â Other possible improvements: 1. Medium Machine Gun for infantry 2. Sniper in Airborne and Marine units 3. Su-27 4. Chinese voices similar to BAS Tonal units that yell something when they spot an enemy or get hit. 5. Transport Aircraft of some type to deploy paratroopers and parajeeps. But I'm looking forward to any improvements. EDIT: Â WOW!!! Â I LOVE THAT NEW GUNSHIP!!! Â AWESOME!!!!
