Flash Thunder 10 Posted June 3, 2010 (edited) Throughout Middle school and Highschool when we all never did the "pledge of alliagence" I knew right then that The US was going to hit rock bottom. Our veterans return home and get horrible care and get shafted by the banks, yet we give everything for free to the illegals! By design they want to topple the United States. why else would they give the illegals everything for free? Dont give me the, illegals are good for the economy bullshit. I read a good book by the name of "Brave New World" good timing eh? ;) Edited June 3, 2010 by Flash Thunder
bangtail 0 Posted June 3, 2010 Honestly, it astounds me that some people are against Arizona's new law. Some of these people actually think they should be allowed to come to the US illegally with no thought of any consequences and when someone finally has the b@lls to implement stricter laws, these same people act like they are being unfairly persecuted. This planet needs a lot less of this PC bullshit and a lot more straight talk IMHO.

Big Mac 19 Posted June 3, 2010 Well I've always been in favor of having an American Foreign Legion that illegals wanting to live in the US would be required to serve in for a 6 year enlistment.
Takko 10 Posted June 3, 2010 My brother once gave an illegal our hotel flat for the night, so that guy had enough power to continue walking towards the major cities. These are kind people, they did not even complain about the couch and that the brother of the illegal had to sleep on the floor. Next day our mobile hard drive was missing and we found out one of them had it but we said he could keep it, they're kind people so one hand washes the other. If it don't make dollars, it don't make sense! And these illegals are right. May some of you should let one of these people stay at home, so you'd find out how kind they are. And what has the fact that you (a german) let illegals sleep in your house and let them steal your property has to do with the USA politics thread? Exactly. Nothing. Except posting so you have posted something, even if it's unrelated. On topic: Of course the illegals are good for the economy. They need to eat and drink, they need something to sleep at and consume electricity and use phone/internet. They need a car and hence fuel... :p The problem is the same everywhere where (rather) poor countries share the border with rich countries. People trying to find a way out of their misery and hope for a better life. By sending them back you don't do anything good for them, let them stay illegally is no option either. A while back I read somewhere that some of these illegals travel up the long way from south-America to the north with no papers etc. Probably these people don't even know that it's illegal because they rely on what their smugglers tell them. So what to do with someone from Bolivia crossing the Mexican border? Send them to Mexico and let them deal with it? You would only move the problem from one side to the other. I'm not familiar with the new Arizona law so I can't comment on that though IMHO not the illegal border crossing should be punished but the citizens supporting the illegals should. Quote Well I've always been in favor of having an American Foreign Legion that illegals wanting to live in the US would be required to serve in for a 6 year enlistment.Well that would be an interesting idea in fact. So they stole from you but you forgave them and they're 'kind' people. I seriously hope you are being sarcastic but if not: Riiigggghhhht. If I gave someone a bed for the night and they stole from me, I can guarantee you that the resolution would not involve any kind of forgiveness. It would, however, involve a baseball bat and an ambulance (at a minimum). BTW, what's the weather like on your planet? BronzeEagle 2 Posted June 3, 2010 Why don't we just take Mexico over if they want to be Americans so bad?
W0lle 1052 Posted June 3, 2010 BronzeEagle said: Why don't we just take Mexico over if they want to be Americans so bad? This might add even more problems, starting with the fact that the flag needs to be changed to the drug war problems they got. Canada would be a much better choice for occupation. :D And it would move the problem just further south to Guatemala and Belize. But at least the border would be half that long. :)
Takko 10 Posted June 3, 2010 Quote starting with the fact that the flag needs to be changed to the drug war problems they got Some people have idiols like stars, Mike Tyson or Leonardo Di Carpio, Mohammed Ali, to name a few. But my idiols are no heroes. My heroes are the people in the poverty areas that slang cane. That ones that pimp hoes, selling drugs (I mean mexicans), just to get the money. You know, they do not have anything, and might die over drug money. Some of them are dead and gone and you might have to watch your back. You can let them stay for the night, never knowing if they make it back. And some of my heroes that are still living, are might locked up behind bars. Thats why you should do it like me, and comfort them (as i had the chance)a little so they can make more. Thats the type of people I look up to, and thats why I do not support the Arizona Law. I even bet you can't even find Arizona on a map. Postcount spammer we call that here when people just make posts to increase that little number below their name. So don't wonder if the number decrease one day, we've done that before. And now for the last time: Stay out of the USA politics thread if you have nothing valuable to add and look up to your "idols". -DirTyDeeDs--Ziggy- 0 Posted July 20, 2010 (edited) As noted by BronzeEagle in another topic President Obamas recent speech on extending employment benefits 45VbG8_6Xi8 my opinion is, I more or less agree with things he says and disagree with things he does. :D discuss Edited July 20, 2010 by [DirTyDeeDs]-Ziggy-
BronzeEagle 2 Posted July 20, 2010 well you gotta realize he's not totally in control he can only offer the idea up but once they vote it either goes through or it doesn't thats how the american government works. alot of these upper class politicians do like he says in the video they block relief aids keeping us hostage. obama points that out. i don't think he's of the same kind of politician and him pointing out their tactics proves it. thats what i think this important video says. he talks very real and as a politician, talking is all he can honestly do. Executive orders at this point when they're calling him mad would be a bad move. Socialism is a threat to his reputation and executive orders overhauling anything would be more like Bush so i think we're good now. He's doing the right thing. What do you expect him to do? mrbinkels 10 Posted July 20, 2010 The Republicans asked that the extended unemployment benefits be paid for by cutting the budget in other areas. The Dems did not want to do that. It's called being fiscally responsible. This administration does not believe in being responsible (Bush didn't either but he had his reasons). Bottom line is the US is one crisis away from anarchy and this president is driving the car. Imo he is not into the presidency, he just likes the title. He doesn't seem to want to be bothered with all the willy nilly day to day stuff like, being POTUS and actually being presidential. Of course all imo

"Bush had his reasons" huh.... maybe Obama has his reasons as well. Bush was extremely financially irresponsible, especially for a Republican. Hows about starting a war on faulty evidence (or worse), then paying for it on credit from the Chinese. Obama may have his faults, But I'll never forgive the Republicans for that world-wide blunder. The only anarchy will be from those who are already infatuated with the idea (read militas). Edited July 21, 2010 by froggyluv

froggyluv 2136 Posted July 20, 2010 Well sorry, I didnt mean to ascribe that you specifically were an anarchist, its just that I hear much of that kind of talk from right-wing pundits and their commando in the wood bretheren. Seems not only do they predict it, they in some cases are calling for it as well as actively pursuing it. Our country has already endured a prolonged recession and just because people act stupid after a major sports event doesn't necessitate a larger social breakdown. Our country endures... I think both sides of the political aisles has their commandos. We hear what we want to hear(me included). But my point is if people are willing to use a sporting event to pillage and plunder surely they would not hesitate to do the same thing in a financial crisis. Perhaps but the guys that play army on the weekend and then plot to kill our police officers to start a "revolution" bother me more than the Whale Wars hippy. As far as I see it, we already have and in a sense continue to go thru a financial crisis and the sky hasn't fallen. But there are those (mostly millionaires themselves) that would like us to believe that it is falling and that soon we will be living in the cross-dimensional nightmare of nazi-socialism. I find that quite Un-American regardless of party.
