On the 5th system (my wife) the one I didn't plan on playing ARMA.

She saw me watching the gameplay video from nofrag

Shes played alot of Quake1+2,Unreal Tournament,We were in Tribes2 clan for a long time,Bf42, she bought BF2 and Special Forces and has never installed it.

nothing wrong with AGP for the time being.... not planning to go PCI-E till vista and dx10

hang fire until the summer refresh next year when the new DX10 parts get produced on the smaller and cooler 0.65u manufacture process.

realistically, nothing is going to use D3D10 before end of next year in any meaningful way really. smile_o.gif

This thread was started over two years ago to enquire which method would be best to gain information to help develop a new game, presumably ArmA which is finished and released.

Maybe it's time to un-pin it and let it die?
