sanctuary 19 Posted September 30, 2004 What i was wondering' date=' is how do you fire the MG on the hatch, like in the video released a while ago? [/quote']He he , i was near to ask the same question, as i wasn't able to find how to have the multi gun system from the video functionning with this pack. Good job on the T55 though will the multi gun function come separately (standalone scripts or something like that) or in a new tank pack you have planned ? raedor 8 Posted September 30, 2004 bug!!! maybe i overwrote all the old files wrong, but i do not get sounds from firing the main gun overall the engine sounds seemed kinda quiet help anyone? sorry. there were so many posts, i missed yours. answer: only delete SIG_T55x.pbo files. but the sound problem cannot be caused by this. could you extract RHS_T55.pbo and check it for gun.ogg? Rudedog 0 Posted September 30, 2004 btw, with the T64 i get a "missing texture barrelnu.paa" (or something like that) errorwell, not on all T64´s but most of them.. both before and with the new fix... have always had this error although numerous downloads and reinstalls Look at the post by Johann "onn" Bitsoenn on Page 2. What i was wondering, is how do you fire the MG on the hatch, like in the video released a while ago? it's not possible in this release (video showed a t-62 btw).  Something I noticed in the readme in the T64 fix pack is the lack of instructions on how to fix the texture issue. Here is a quick and dirty.  You will need PBO Decryptor 1.5 and Make PBO 1.1 to do it. 1. Copy the SIG_T64b.pbo to a temp directory 2. Run UNPBO and browse to the file you just copied and decompress it. 3.  It will create a folder called SIG_T64b.  Copy the new barrelnu2.paa and overwrite the old one. 4. Run MAKEPBO and select the SIG_T64b folder and compress. 5. Copy the new pbo to your addons folder. Hope this helps some of the "non-OFP" savvy people. raedor 8 Posted September 30, 2004 check your config file (in rhs_t55pack_scripts.pbo) for this line:<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">sound[]={"\RHS_T55\gun.ogg","db-20.",1};also make sure that you overwrote the old scripts file with the new one. raedor 8 Posted September 30, 2004 yep and i just RE replaced the config pbo to make sure, still, no sound....btw config file says exactly what it should say then i have no idea... but if your sound file is ok and the config is ok it can't be our addon. did you have sound probs before? fallchild 0 Posted September 30, 2004 I also have the sound bug, but I have managed to track down the cause I think. In my case it's because of Kuryami's EECP or one of the addons required by it, I'm not sure which. Seeing as the config for EECP requires the previous version of the T55 pack, I think it just requires a quick update to get the sounds working again. When I run vanilla OFP with the new T55 Pack, the sounds work fine. Hope that helps somebody
One 0 Posted September 30, 2004 I am running the same mod, i will look into it what needs to be fixed to get it working?
fallchild 0 Posted September 30, 2004 I think that the config.bin needs to be updated with the data from the new T55 pack. I'm not exactly sure how to do that but I think that there is a tutorial on the Y2K3 site here.
raedor 8 Posted September 30, 2004 oh yes, that's possible... thx fallchild.
raedor 8 Posted September 30, 2004 killswitch reported some important bugs: "Addon dependency chains not declared correctly/completely" there will be a little update, soon (only config files).

I'm not exactly sure how to do that but I think that there is a tutorial on the Y2K3 site here. Â thats a real Headache. No more Mods for Me!!!!! Edit i just got into OFP, and checked my sound settings, and i had Hardware Acceleration Enabled turned that sh*t off and guess what? PROBLEM SOLVED i guess the sound is not compatible with hardware acceleration... keep in mind this only worked for me while not running the EECP mod still havent figured that one out
the_shadow 0 Posted September 30, 2004 ok... so, i opened the SIG_T64b.pbo and replaced the barrelneu.paa with the one in the T64 fix file... and then recompressed it... now i get a CTD when trying to start a mission with a T64B, BV or BVK in it :/ can someone send me a fixed and working PBO? fallchild 0 Posted September 30, 2004 Quote[/b] ]keep in mind this only worked for me while not running the EECP mod still havent figured that one out 1) Download the dev config of EECP. 2) DO a find and replace, replacing SIG_T55 with RHS_T55. 3) Cpp to bin it and overwrite the old config.bin in your EECP folder. That worked for me as a stopgap.

M9ACE 0 Posted October 1, 2004 I just noticed this thread while browsing from work during lunch. Â I am anticipating this release to be very good and when I get home from work I will download it. Â Thanks RHS for updating an already excellent T55 FOV addon pack with this release. Regarding the coop mission, I can see if I can get someone to upload both it and the addons to the QSF server sometime soon.
