IceFire 0 Posted June 11, 2004 Hello all, I am IceFire. I currently have a NIVIDIA GeForce2MX graphics card in my computer machine. The rest of my machine is pretty good, Pentium 4 and everything. Â But people keep telling me that my graphics card is the one really lousy thing that messes games up, and I get killed alot in AA because it gets choppy sometimes. Go into AA, and go to the video tab. Set your screen resolution to 640x480 or 800x600. Then go into the Details menu and set everything to Very or Ultra Low. That will make AA very playable (It's what I have it at, and it works just fine for me) Other things in the settings list can help. I.E. Turning off the "extras" like trilinear filtering, and I think something like cube mapping is in there. So fiddle with all of that and AA works just fine. red oct 2 Posted June 12, 2004 hey Ice why not try checking out some of the older Radeon cards? there are probaly some better ones than the one you have that you could probaly get at a pretty reasonable price. you could also find some pretty good deals for other cards on online shopping sites. you could also maybe check online auction sites like Ebay and Ubid. you would be surprised what some people sell. who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and find somebody auctioning a nice card. sidenote: im sorry but i just can't help but comment on EiZei's avatar. thats gotta be the boldest statement i've seen on this forum since i joined this forum. better becareful though there EiZei, im not at all fooled by Denior's "liberal" act. personally i think deep down in side him is a fanatical nationalist trying to get out better lock the doors and windows or he might pay ya a visit w/ that pea shooter of his Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
