IDEA: there may be also some ruins of objects, that "were destroyed" during Resistance.

And for the highways, I still strongly suggest - if one wide road is not possible, at least change the current textures, for the road to have lines and look as real highway... :>

The monument should be at Dolina. Maybe a small museum too... wink_o.gif

I think will be nice to see some hotel and fuelstation beside main road. And some US Base could look good if it could be located on the North East mountains.

Yeh and if you make a US base make sure its realistic. For instance make sure there is absolutely NO SHRUBBERIES! Gah I hate those things. Its too easy to tell if a tanks coming when it breaks some shrubbery, and then the carl gustavs launch and your tank flips ten feet in the air! Gah! Kill all the shrubberies and replace them with grassy terrain is what I say.

No ruins, Nogova is rebuild so are the ruins I even deleted some ruins because there are about five ruins on the island wink_o.gif

And I am not sure if I am going to change the texture, let me think of it smile_o.gif

I am thinking about making a monument in the desert ruins were the last battle was fought. And a small monument in Dolina smile_o.gif

Expect some truckstops, gasstations and hotel/motel's smile_o.gif

And there will be 2 militairy bases on the island: 1 US and 1 Nogovan Defense Forces Base

They are the most kind of evil bush. They are about yey tall in height *holds hand at chest level* and attack any monty python fans at sight. You should be really carefull when around them. They are like communists.

But not to get off the topic. Maybe for OFP 2 BIS will release a tool like in some games where you can edit small bits of terrain and maybe add a raise and lower height tool..then again that would require smaller squares and maybe even more of your comps memory.

Just an idea but how about a T55 or BMP on a concrete plynth as a monument along side the road somewhere?

Possibly to mark the site of the first tank battle against the Russians?

looks nice, maybe it already is cant see that much but try and make it realistic as in make it logical

easy to guard, parking space out of direct view

Found a pic of such a monument, it's part of the Russian Monument in Berlin apparently.

I seem to remember seeing a fair few monuments like that in Egypt along the road between Port Said and Cairo close to the Suez Canal.

We have a same monument here in Breda Netherlands. But only we have a Tiger here smile_o.gif

One question: Do the street lamps on the highway give a white light or yellow ?

Im asking because most highway lights iv seen are yellow:

On the island you could make less lights in the less populated areas ?

A monument like that would be great. Even my small town has a VFW one with old 37mm Guns (Not sure, in US). But shrubberies are evil, unless there's another one slightly taller across from one forming a little path effect. But it is a hard time for shrubbers everywhere (Sorry, saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail this weekend)

... surrounded with wall and don't forget to put a helipad in the backyard and flagpoles in the front wink_o.gif

BTW, updated 3WX pack v.1.1 will have these yellow streetlights. smile_o.gif
