Thank you very much for the links! Some I've seen already but some are new to me and I've already found many interesting info.

Now about the Taliban leaders. Mullah Muhammad Omar (mullah meaning cleric). Very little is known about him, in part because he refuses to meet with non-Muslims. Mullah Omar lost his right eye fighting the Soviets. In 1996, during the Taliban’s rise to power, he proclaimed himself caliph, or leader of all Islam, startling most mainstream Muslim scholars.

BTW, Bin Laden is married to the daughter of Mula Omar. She is his second wife IIRC.
