-RuN- 0 Posted September 20, 2004 Ok, sorry for the CH-47, my fault.:( Concerning the trucks, the support ones seems the problematic ones. I know that it works with the other new vehicles. One strange thing, when I put the new jeep with machine gun in the MH-47, harness it and then parachute it, it become the old model back(this I don`t mind..) but then, I cannot get in it, and it does not correspond to a car anymore but to a man; if I shoot at it, it bleeds.. That is what I wanted to ask too! bleeding jeeps were the only way to get it in cargo of the MH47 via script. i really dont know how i could get around that. about the gun zoom... no offense folks but where have you been the past 3, 4 years? all the weapons in OFP have a minor "zoom" effect when goin to sight view. from the BIS blocky sight to the highly detailed S&E sights. One strange thing, when I put the new jeep with machine gun in the MH-47, harness it and then parachute it, it become the old model back(this I don`t mind..) but then, I cannot get in it, and it does not correspond to a car anymore but to a man; if I shoot at it, it bleeds.. ok i tested this... i drove it inside the helo "lock down cargo" the HTTV turns into a jeep mg... i "parachute cargo" it parachutes as a jeep mg... then when it hit the ground it begame the HTTV again and i was able to get in and drive it away tested using the winch/cargo hauling a 5 ton, and a humvee. but the support truck didnt work like you said, and honestly i dont ever remember BAS saying u could trasport the cargo trucks under the MH47 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

nickless 0 Posted September 20, 2004 How about setting "OpticsZoomMin" and "OpticsZoomMax" to a higher value for each gun that uses iron sights? Tried several times by setting "OpticsZoomMin" and "OpticsZoomMax" of the weapons you want to change to =0.650000 , I got the best zoom effect, that's very realistic. Snif 0 Posted September 20, 2004 Great mod. I have i question. I noticed that now you have a lot more action awailable in action menu. One of them is Join player. Is it posible to drop someone from group after certain time. Example: I play CTI with this mod. And sometime it is usefull to use some units in my group. Problem is that some of them have respawn abilities. So even if they die they still respawn in my group, altough i don't won't them no more. Can i drop them from my group/squad and how ? Radnik 18 Posted September 20, 2004 about the gras thingy. yes you can impliment it to the soldiers via config.you will need to add it to Man, West Soldierwb, East Soldiereb, Resistance Soldiergb for it to work for everyone. and that will carry down to otehr addon soldiers UNLESS they have an init script of thier own. ...i'm having probs with it how can i add in config.cpp a soldiers init line like i would have to do in editor ? ...like...init = [player, "darkweed2", 1, 100, 0.5, true] exec grass.sqs. cose that init=[_this select 0] exec ... not working Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Pappy Boyington 0 Posted September 28, 2004 allllllllllllllllllll righty then testing out my drivers upgrade (make sure my game still worked) i tested it on "clean sweep" and i saw the mp5 mag mixed in my inventory.. .reminding me of how many ppl asked "well how can i fix this?" the answer is you dont... BUT WAIT... THERES MORE. clean sweep 1 thru 9000 all is "black op night eq" or in Y2K3 terms, Special Forces (Night). SF night is equiped with an M4 SOP mod form INQ. . . with silenced mags... but.. she can accept XM177 mags.. (which in turn removes the silencer form the gun) and has the same single and full auto options as the M4 mag SDd and u still got your scope. so just replace the spare MP5 mag wiht an XM177 mag and your good to go Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Pappy Boyington 0 Posted September 29, 2004 quite possibly a 3rd party addon problem. like you have half of a 2 part pbo set. Pappy Boyington 0 Posted September 29, 2004 yea some german gamaing magazine has shown interest in it my good buddy Mr burns is (no pun intended) burning it all to a disk to send to them (cuz he is closer to germany then i am). comes complete with custom CD lable for the disk (my handy work) which wont be revleaed until they mass burn/ship it thats why i cant change the T55. plus its not really worth it, theres nothin wrong with the sigma t54 we got now. and if it aint broke, dont fix it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Pappy Boyington 0 Posted September 29, 2004 no actualy you made the jewl case insert.. im talkin about a custom lable for the disk itself. for on the CD but about the jewl case, no i kinda gave that to Mr Burns, cuz he made one.. and he was helpin with the CD lable.. and i told him specificly that i wanted to use mine (since it was the coolests ) but to make up for his hard work he could use his own jewlcase insert for the disk. but dont feel too bad m8. i did use your's for my CD jewl case.. and your's is still the only one on the website for the "print ready" one Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I was thinking about making a DVD disc with the best stuff I have downloaded so far for OFP, and then I thought about using an installer or something with a menu, like in the ones you get in the magazines, it would be a nice addition next to the 3 discs from OFP and yours. Can you do something like it for your mod?if you allready done so I would appreciate it if you could pass me the file to add it to the disc. I supose that you know what I'm tallking about lol. @CERO.
