IceFire 0 Posted January 6, 2004 My favorite official weapon is the AK74. It has all the same accuracy and power of the M-16, but also has fully automatic capabilities. Which is the most versatile part of the AK. You can use it to fire suppressive fire, use it to spray a group of rushing enemies, you can lead up to a target with it, or just in general "shape your stream of fire" to direct and cut off enemy units. I have no favorite unofficial weapons considering I have never downloaded an unofficial mod or mission or anything else "unofficial". You poor man...and you do this voluntarily? PKM is indeed a nice weapon, but I don't use the G36 since it's one-shot-one-kill from a rifle that fires the same ammo as the M16. Nah, I prefer 200 rounds of 5.56 NATO cycling at 725rpm ranging over 800 meters. In case you missed them there is also a M249PARA with or without dot sight and a M249 equiped with a great looking M145 scope in the Marine pack, a big advantage over the BAS one is the muzzle flash wont block your sight when you go crazy on the trigger .
