Postduifje 0 Posted November 15, 2005 Damn Postduifje, your shot is so cheesy... I mean nice.. but Kitsch! Â Â I know, this is the kind of stuff Microsoft sends along as windows background... beautiful, but it looks a bit fake. It is a fake, actually. I took a picture of a aquarium in front of my desk lamp, and photo-shopped it a bit

Ironsight 1 Posted November 17, 2005 Great pics guys Now one of mine: Cheesy shot in a cheesy bar taken with my Sony K300i I got last week Camera on your phone is big fun. Especially when you look at the pics you made in the weekend when you are back at school and realise how much fun you had and how totally wasted you were. Judging from the pics
DBR_ONIX 0 Posted November 17, 2005 WhoCares : They are really nice shots, mainly the one with the boat, but theres a lot of noise in the pictures Ironsight : "and how totally wasted you were. Judging from the pics " I assume theres other pictures that you.. wont be sharing then? - Ben {Edit, where'd come from? I didn't type that }

Ironsight 1 Posted November 18, 2005 Ironsight : "and how totally wasted you were. Judging from the pics " I assume theres other pictures that you.. wont be sharing then? This is the only picture worth posting. The lights give a nice picture actually and illustrates very nicely how the atmosphere was over there. Others are very bad (too much shaking). Most only have girls and friends doing idiotic stuff in them. I don't think this is really the place to show them, Break.com more likely
DBR_ONIX 0 Posted November 18, 2005 Picture taken a few days ago, no editing (just resized) I've taken others I might upload at somepoint - Ben

da12thMonkey 1943 Posted November 19, 2005 These are some pictures my dad took this morning while we were testing out our home-made mount that fits his digital camera to a birdwatching telescope. Apart from the darkening bits and sort of radial blur (which I think looks kind of alright actually) around the edge of the picture it takes okay photos for a cheep camera and an even cheaper mounting device. The photos are of an Upland Sandpiper, a species not native to the UK (they're from America IIRC) so it provided a pretty nice photo-oportunity for our test. Bigger Version Bigger Version Edit:- forgot to say those are some great photos -=UOE.Txalo=-
Supah 0 Posted November 19, 2005 Heh cool that it works! I think the darkening your talking about is called vignetting. The pictures could pbb be cleaned up really nicely in photoshop. Edit: like this Large version
da12thMonkey 1943 Posted November 19, 2005 Thanks. Any particular adjustment tools or techniques in Photoshop that you reccomend I use?
GoOB 0 Posted November 19, 2005 Heh cool that it works! I think the darkening your talking about is called vignetting. Yeah, and its a really desirable effect at that IMO! I'm saving up for a Holga fisheye camera that does photos similar to these... Well, not saving up as much as waiting for my paycheck, since it sells for 40 Euros Really nice pictures da12thMonkey! And supah did an ace touchup aswell
DBR_ONIX 0 Posted November 19, 2005 The effect on the bird shots are cool Anyway, photos taken earlier today :: Large Large Large Large Large Taken today while doing photos for my parents friend's son (Various woodwork things he'd made) Theres some noise on a few of them because the camera was set to a higher ISO (Forgot to put it back to 100 after I had it setup for shooting at night.. ) - Ben
Supah 0 Posted November 19, 2005 Thanks. Any particular adjustment tools or techniques in Photoshop that you reccomend I use? Best advice is just to mess with the color balance and the contrast till you lose the grey hue it has. if you version of photoshop has auto contrast, auto levels and auto color try testing what those come up with. To remove the vignetting I'd get the RAW tool, I think the tool I used for that came with it. Its available from the adobe site.

harley 3 1185 0 Posted November 20, 2005 Photo I took one evening last December walking around a path 5 minutes behind my house. Â Those hills in the background form the backbone of "The Lake District", visited by Lord only knows how many millions of tourists a year. Â Fortunately, I live far enough away (by the coast) to not be bothered by them. Camera is an Epson Digital, 3.5megapixel with x-photozoom (left the damn thing in the Western Isles of Scotland visiting a friend, so can't check the specs).
