FSPilot 0 Posted October 4, 2004 http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=366015 http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=365970 Two photos that were added to jetphotos.net (a not-so-exclusive aviation photo site). Â Compared to airliners.net this isn't a big accomplishment, but I'm an amateur so I'm happy.
Tovarish 0 Posted October 6, 2004 Testing my new toy by taking a closer look at a particularly flowery balcony: It's pretty damn tricky to take pictures through a telescope without a camera mount! Bought it for $20, since it's nice and compact so I can just throw it in a backpack when I go camping, and gets around 100X zoom

Tovarish 0 Posted October 6, 2004 are you becoming a voyuer? I was just testing it out, and unfortunately the only view I get from my balcony is of other buildings and their balconies. I don't plan on spying on any "heavenly bodies" within those, hell most of the people in my neighborhood are seniors anyhow  Quote[/b] ]where is the crosshair? *Chuckle*. I considered editing a Dragunov reticle onto it, but I'm feeling lazy

Albert Schweitzer 10 Posted October 8, 2004 Well Albert Schweitzer didn´t look like Sylvester Stallone also  No, I definetly look anything but dangerous! But this palmtree is a dangerous weapon... whether you believe it or not. If you cut yourself with this one you will feel the pain. This guy chose the right weapon! killagee 0 Posted October 9, 2004 During the exposure I zoom the lens in and out. I have a 70-300mm lens which helps with this, but you can do it with any SLR zoom lens...

killagee 0 Posted October 10, 2004 Depends really, any where from 1/160 to 1/2 will give you a good zoom effect. But these particular shots were: 1/2/3: 1/10 F/5.6 4: 1/20 F/5.6 5: 1/10 F 5.

theavonlady 2 Posted October 10, 2004 From last week's 4x4 family trip to Israel's Negev region: Local road hazzards sign, midwestern Negev, Israel, near the Egyptian border. Local road hazzards in the flesh. My husband had the pedal to the floor at 160+KMPH when 4 of them decided to cross the road ahead of us. Negev sunset, somewhere between the Negev towns of Ophakim and Rahat.
