Police motorcycle?

I'm surprised no one has made a police motorcycle yet, it would add alot of fun

I'd love to see a Police Motorcycle, but the question that poses the biggest problem is, what kind of motorbike would the Nogova Police use.

We can rule out harleys. Muck too big and too american for a european police force.

I wouldn't have a clue if Russia has police motorcycle patrols. If Russia does, then the bike the Russians use would be a good choice for the basis of the Nagova Police bike.

Perhaps a BMW police bike would be suitable. Modern, european. Actual real BMW police bike.

na, BMW sucks.

I'd prefer some Nogova police motorcycle. Basically the standard red bike, just retextured in white and green and if possible with some small model adjustments like a siren.

The Jawa (The red motorcycle) Would be the best for a Nogova police motorcycle. With a few model modifications like adding a box instead of that second seat. And of course a siren and a "flasher" (what do you call those anyways?!)

give em an Ural motorcycle. It's the russian copy of the BMW motorcycle.

note: it has also a back seat behind the driver. It means you can take two passengers.

BTW the sidecar could have a mounted weapon like an AK 47 rifle.

Well it depends if you want the Nogova Police to be east or west orientated, I suppose they are using east weapons but then again the jeep looks pretty western.

Personallly I think the BMW will look pretty cool :D:D

Why not making a whole police motorcycle pack? Give 'em the Jawa for a single policeman and a cargo seat and add an Ural or a BMW for more cargo space or the ability to have a fast attack vehicle.

Edit: and I think that the bikes should have more offroad capabilities than civilian cars. I once had a neighbor who used to go fishing with his ural. And he went to some places where there were no streets and some pretty rough terrain.

I interpreted the original post as looking for a modern police bike, not older era Jawa's or Urals. I assume this because these bikes wouldn't seem to fit into a force where fairly modern Jeeps are the standard car and the Mi-2 is the aerial support.

A Jawa or Ural police bike just wouldn't seem to fit in with the existing police units in the Nogovan police livery. If off-road ability is needed, how about this:

The city of Hamburg got some Harleys for their police

I too think that the Jawa would fit, although it seems a little outdated comparing to the jeep. A reskin of the BAS motorcycle could also do the job for an offroad police bike(with permission of course)

Well a must for such a pack would be that there are at least some bikes in it, that are dated '85 and pre '85.

Nogova Police appears to be (like Nogova itself) a former soviet satellilte that pulled free somwhere in the past and is starting to orientate towards the Western World. Thus they accquired some modern vehicles (jeep) to replace their outdated soviet motor pool. The GAZ24 is a great example for such older cars which are being replaced bit by bit.

Motorcycle wise you could handle it similar, with some old police bikes like that modified OFP red motorcycle that has been suggested and another more modern vehicle, but which still has to fit in the '85 time.

Nice idea why isnt there a police pack with new: Cars, Boats, Choppers, Helo's with special features like a Prison Truck, SWAT Truck etc etc. And with addons like spike strip, road flares, road blocks, and so go on

Ya, thats a good list, but if someone does make a boat or a helicopter, make sure NOT to arm it with a PKM or 2.75 inch rockets or whatever, a police force deals with lightly armed criminals not a military force. If a boat or a helicopter should be armed at all the only weapons should be the officers'/pilots'/cargos' own personal weapons.

There are enough nogova police choppers (two mi-2 or so). There is also a good police car (gaz24). The feds also have a nice black car with siren (gaz24 as well).

What could be needed is a (well) retextured soviet boat with PK in the police colors. There is one already present but it kinda looks ugly. Furthermore a retextured BRDM (unarmed of course) could be made, and the above mentioned bike(s) as well.
