Sh@d0w_Killer 1 Posted September 6, 2003 I could get in trouble with the "Avon Lady" hehehehe The only trouble I got into was when I was talking on teamspeak and didn't know my wife walked into the room, right when I was using some bad language.....funny i'm at work right now....hehehehe

1B1KSniper 0 Posted September 6, 2003 OFP stole every single one of my days off school for the past 2 years, with this evil modding stuff and all.
qUiLL 0 Posted September 8, 2003 i can safely say that OPF has taken up a measurable portion of my life, i just wish i could figure out how many months (straight) i spent playing OPF :-p and sadly due to me doing all this complex stuff in OPF's scripting language, it has gotten me away from the real-world languages that i was learning - i dont learn them anymore cuz i am too busy writing crap for OPF
canukausiuka 1 Posted September 8, 2003 To be honest, all I did in chemistry today was nap and jot down some notes for some scripts I'm working on. Then I got out of class and almost all I've done is work on them. But then, I do have a bit of a life outside ofp. After all, I'm going to ride in a dirtbike race this weekend, if all goes well. But until then, while I'm stuck at college, what is there better to do? Homework? Naaa.....
svendejong 0 Posted September 9, 2003 the only thing that saves me from being fired from my job is the fact that ofp doesnt run on sgi. If Bis ports it so I can run it on my onix I'm doomed.

GoOB 0 Posted September 9, 2003 Well my wife and kids left me after she found me trying to ambush the neighbours cat. Â Don't you think at 16 you're a bit young to have a wife and kids? You are obviously not mormon (Bad joke, sorry. Not meant to offend anyone) And no, OFP has never gotten me in serious trouble. Only trouble sleeping, trouble with shouting parents, trouble with angry teachers (the homeworks suffer when you play OFP ) Thats about it I think
The Frenchman 0 Posted September 10, 2003 OFP never gotten me in trouble homework wise but it has social wise. Maybe because I hadnt talked to anyone the whole summer or leave the house except when hunting grasshoppers under the cloudy sky and feeding them alive to hungry spiders. (Im trailing of so I will shut up now. )

You are obviously not mormon  (Bad joke, sorry. But unfortunately I forgot about them playing ofp..... when I went back to them 4 months later.... well, By the way, I have actually been married 3 times and have 12 kids scattered around the country sleeping in boxes somewhere. chipmunk 0 Posted September 13, 2003 I have been playing OFP since it came out in 2001. I got so hang up with this game that my wife was mad at me whenever I just dared to start up my PC. I spent too much time on my computer, so she told me to do something more usefull... Well, in my case OFP was an incentive to take up school again. I'm now in my second year of evening classes in order to become a programmer...

Cloney 0 Posted September 13, 2003 I remember a few years ago when OFP first came out, I remember being in school and seeing a kid trip on a book in the hallway, hit a locker with a bang then collide with another classmate. I immediately dropped to one knee and wanted to scream: "OH NO 3 is DOWN!" I then realized i was in school and It took some creative thinking to explain that behavior. Oh yes and since OFP I've been spelling "behavior" as "behaviour". As in this setbehaviour safe.
Jinef 2 Posted September 14, 2003 well, i have been told by people of talking about about war like things in my sleep. Probably think i have PST or something. I have also been slightly late sometimes as i think, hmm i will just finish this mission. Or someone keeps chatting to me on IRC about OFP and i can't get away. Lupus-WD- 0 Posted September 14, 2003 @Jinef : Who can that be that you're chatting with so late in the night me wonders ;) Never got into real life troubles because of OFP so far, but a lot are going to considering the amount of people signing up to military after they have played ofp (not me... been there done that with mandatory service, i have had enough) ;P edit : typo
qUiLL 0 Posted September 15, 2003 i must admit as well, ever since i got playin OPF and involved in the community ive been spelling everything the brit way- using our. part of the reason was "armourdave" lol (i spell armor armour now :-p) and all of the commands in OPF. when i go to write english papers alot of times ill spell it the brit way and they will be like wtf? Wilco 944 Posted September 16, 2003 Hmm, I've actually yelled at my mom for making me die in a game, well, I just figured to put the blame on the closest person and there she was. I owning an airsoft gun have actually started using the radio commands like "OH NO, 3 IS DOWN!" running around my house with my MP5A4, what fun.

Do you spell <s>dammage</s>damage as dammage every time too?  I've was tought english-english in school so I always thought behavior etc was wrong untill I started to chat with some american ofp-friends  I must add that OFP cured my script-o-phobia though. I hated everything coding, scripting, basic-programming etc at school Now I love it   especially if it contains this, set-something and get-something  I've never gotten into any trouble because of OFP. Luckily I had my summer-vacation when OFP v.1 was released But I came an hour or so late 3 days in a row (I never show up late at work) when Resistance was released I was so hooked I started playing as soon as I came home and got to bed around 4 in the morning and up for work at 8 Good thing Resistance only took 3 days to finnish... or I might have gotten into trouble with the boss (if he had come to work on time that is )
