theavonlady 2 Posted July 16, 2003 I have to agree, in terms of design the french go their own way...but what do they intent by making things look "weird"? Â Â Admittedly, they've improved but when I was a child, I thought Citroens looked like cockroaches. huh ? cockroaches ? I still see it.
bn880 5 Posted July 16, 2003 To defend Ran and Citroen, insects also have some of the best designs possible in nature. Our machines still do not compare to something like a cockroach.
brgnorway 0 Posted July 16, 2003 Quote[/b] ]Citroens looked like cockroaches. ......which clearly demonstrates your lack of taste in sophisticated automobile design. DS Pallas is one of the most beautyfull cars ever produced. - and no - it's not up for debate ..........and don't forget all the innovative features of this car: hydraulic suspension (Rolls Royce used Citroen's system) , headlamps always in line with the front wheels (no Audi was not the first one to use this) and a design so incredibly ahead of it's time. Tovarish 0 Posted July 16, 2003 So who's said that cockroaches aren't beautiful? . I mean - no offense ran, but you guys do eat snails, so driving a car that looks like an insect should be no big deal ;).

As BN880 said, just like a cockroach! It has some similarities, doesn't mean it's a pest. I like it a lot. And I haven't eaten snails but I will if it's prepared well. Tovarish 0 Posted July 16, 2003 One can laugh at eating snails and frogs like one can laugh at eating pigs! Â Yeah, I recall discussing the pros and cons of eating maggots (and the different ways to prepare them) with a New Guinean friend of mine after we watched the movie Ghost Ship. Bottom line -I don't care if it tastes like popcorn, I ain't trying it
