Major Fubar 0 Posted August 6, 2003 Just don't make the same mistake I did years ago - I thought when a spirit was described as "80-proof" it meant 80% alcohol volume...in fact, it means 40% alcohol volume. 1 proof = 0.5% alcohol content The strongest drink I've ever had was Polish Pure spirits - 80% (160-proof)...tastes like a cross between Vodka and nail polish remover... mr burns 131 Posted August 6, 2003 The strongest alcDrinks i ever had were "Stroh 80´er" 80% (wich i´ve also sucessfully used as gas for my MotorScooter) A few years ago somebody came up with synthetic but drinkable alc wich was approximately 96% alc and had a really baad taste... bah this reminds me of some Irish guy who showed us how they do in Ireland if they wanna get drunk. He took a spoon and filled it with Whisky (Whiskey and Wodka work also). Then he sniffed it right through his nose Is this crazy or what ? btw: does anybody know where i can get that strong Absinth ? But be carefull with that stuff! we were 4 or 5 guys and drank half a bottle of it. We couldn't stand straight afterwards. Better kiss your brain good bye if you drink that stuff! And there's a locally brewed Hemp beer that was super popular when it came out, the pub had promotional posters of it on the walls, and every day ppl would steal them. Â The beer sold lots at first, seems like everyone tried one pint, then went back to their normal beers. And I heard that Viagra and Pepsi are coming together to make a new soft drink.
