goldmember 0 Posted November 19, 2003 I was playing an early mission in the red hammer campaign, and after shooting down a chinook with an AT4, the chinook crashed into the ground and disappeared. Maybe this is a problem related to the GMR mod? If chopper was close to water when disappered then it was script fault (on the boundary water and earth hard to identify which one is under chopper), otherwise David Copperfield did it. --------------------------------------------------------------- I have a little problem. Golden age is over! My boss moved me to another position, which means I have to work much more than before. I must confess I developed my mod at workplace. My time to spend script making is reduced highly. I can promise there will be next version - crater effect, scorched earth - to the end of the week, but afterwards the update is uncertain. Take a closer look at Sea Demons smoke, cause it´s "falling to the ground" after some short time. You must take a look at it for better understanding. Whoa, thats a big call, not every plane leaves a smoke trail Lee. Smoke trails are usually associated with older turbine engines that simply cannot burn fuel efficiently. Most, if not all modern turbine engines are smoke free. I'd love to see smoke effects on all aircraft that have smokey trails IRL. Not those that don't have smokey trails. Keep in mind that most older jets equipped with reheat (afterburners) do not leave a smokey trail when the burners are on. Because the burners burn the soot that would otherwise be left What I would love to see is vapor trails at high altitudes. But this would be useless. I meant, GolMember, in my opinion, I don't mind if it take a month for another update, I'm happy with every release you do. Sometimes I wish you stop updating, is too tempting to ignore, and I expend more time checking out your great effects than editing. So, you boss is giving me time to breath a bit, and get editing.
