Nogova police mi-2 v1.0 released

There are plenty of mirrors up already actually, and for me none of them had a good file. What I had to do was download a new utility to open the .rars, (In my case, I was using a feature of WinAce to open the .rar, but it didn't work until I downloaded and used WinRar, which you can download at www.rarlab.com). I would recommend that everyone with this problem try that too.

yeh someone mirror ive download the thing twice, no pbo or readme.. i really want this for SWAT like missions on Nogova.. now alll's we need is new Special Unit Nog Police Officers, A Flak jacket, and  helmet with them armed with M16's or FN's. like a Nogova Swat Team.<span id='postcolor'>

a republic island like nogova surely hasn't a special police unit

it's at most 700 to 1000 inhabitants only , i doubt there would be much to deal with

and also don't forget that Nogova is a former member of the soviet union , and knowing that the country is small i doubt it could afford new materials and vehicles , i think we must stick to russian/soviet hardware for the Nogova police

True, but one can always make the mission so that Nogova is small part of bigger country which has some kind of SWAT team. For example while the original game is set to 1985 we can always make missions set to this year etc. And like it says in the game box:

Lol, yep, I just use Seb nam pack Special Forces... it's pretty good. The Vietamese terrorists are good also. biggrin.gif

i was also thinking about some units of the Jackal326's SRT pack (especially the green assault ones)

SRT... I might have a look at that next time.

I like the guy with the headset, but he doesn't have a helmet so I'll use others.

As for multiplayer, tehre is another bug. Other players playing CANNOT hear the loudspeaker in multiplayer. This ruins teh whole point of a loudspeaker...<span id='postcolor'>

It's ruinning whole point of a loudspeaker but in MP missions only (for example I'm not OFP MP player :-)

I'll try to do something with this in the next versions but I'll wait if there will be any additional bugs reported.

BTW: Do doors work correctly in MP? (If you're opening doors - can other player see it's opening?)

I've downloaded it (from each of the places listed here)and I see the readmes, pics, and the pbo, and can extract them just fine, but it doesn't appear in the editor. confused.gif I can extract the stuff from the pbo, and I get no error messages when starting the game. If it matters I have 1.91.

If I wanna set up this unit in the Mission Editor, it crashes or lockup. Oh no!! Don't tell me my Voodoo Crapshee card is the problem again. sad.gifcrazy.gif

I can't seem to download the file from anywhere. I can download it, I open it (yeah I know how to open a rar, I;m not stupid) but all that's there is the readme?!? In a 6-meg file? COuld someone host just the .pbo for me or anyone else with this problem? I am using XAce Plus.

No, here is a note to everyone:

<span style='color:red'>Use WinRAR archiver 2.90 or newer to open this file. This is how you normally open a .rar file in the new 2.9 format.</span>

cuz its not a real Mi2, ita a op flash one.. i love this chopper. Im gonna use the Delta's and SRT's for the SWAT units. nd for a Nogova Police Airfield, im just gonna use the Desert Airport for a Terminal like heli-field. Now im gonna look for some Resistance Terror skins, SEB Nam makes my ofp crash 2 much.

I've used the latest version of WinRar, and it still doesn't show up in the editor. Maybe it could be a conflict w/ another addon?

look for the HK pack then , it's got a few terrorists and mafia models included

Maybe I'm a bit picky, but the engine sound loop gives me a little adrenaline jolt every few seconds because it sounds like the engine is about to die. smile.gif No honest, it's got this weird choking or load sound... every few seconds.

I found a bug ! I found a bug ! tounge.gif You can actually load 5 (!!!wink.gif men into the chopper. I tried it with police units.

Yup, I've noticed this too (or more likely - too late wink.gif

I've counted gunner as cargo - that's why this bug exists. It will be fixed in the next release...

I don't know if it was Airwolf's intension, but the helo is not being engaged by machine gunners, even when touching ground.

Oh, I didn't forget to "moveindriver" an enemy unit.
