Jackal326 1181 Posted April 24, 2003 Due to...well, God only knows what, an error has been discovered in the M16A2 Pack, whereby the ACOG P3D File has gone walk-about. To counter this, I have released a fix for it. It comes in two versions (.CAB and .ZIP) Here are the links: .CAB Version .ZIP Version I hope this hasn't caused you too much inconvenience. BUG FIXES: - Fixes the Snow Camo M16A2's foresight which was slightly the wrong shape. - Replaces the missing ACOG Optic Model and textures.

PFC_Mike 2 Posted April 25, 2003 are you still using the inaccurate CS M24? I think you should use Andraz's SWS it's much better
Jackal326 1181 Posted April 25, 2003 Yes I am still using the "inaccurate CS M24" If you want to use Andraz's SWS then go right ahead, but the M24 I imported, stays with the pack. I spent quite a while importing, tweaking and scaling the model, so it stays. You ever heard of the RemoveWeapon and AddWeapon commands? Use them if you dont like it. Jackal326 1181 Posted April 26, 2003 The bolt is on the right side as you look at it from the back. And to answer mrukas' question about the walking P3D Files, yes, it is possible
the_unknown_one 0 Posted April 28, 2003 YEY! now i can make a bhd mission where you and your mate are sniper d-boys and have to protect Durants heli (why didnt i think of this before?) with the m14 and snipers m16. thankyou very much, the_unknown_one
ruff 102 Posted April 30, 2003 cool addon sort of real life blackops unit no flags sort of good guy mercs madd if there is goin to be a 1.2 version how bout giving them more hit points on the chest since they are wearing vests
Jackal326 1181 Posted April 30, 2003 There is not going to be a v1.2 Its going to jump straight to version 2.0 This new and improved version should include: - Bug fixes of missing textures and LOD errors, - Animated Goggles (similar to the BAS Ranger/Deltas' ), - New and Improved Weapon Models with high res 1st person textures (and regular PAC/PAA 3rd person etc textures), - More to be added based upon user input from previous versions (so if you have a suggestion for v2.0 post it NOW! ). the_unknown_one 0 Posted April 30, 2003 its not a fix but an addition. how about an m16 (silenced) wiht an aimpoint and "painted" green camo, or draped wiht a cover. a bit like the tactical sniper but less "snipy" like halfway between snipe and close quarters (i dont know how i can explian it beetr) also, for some reason thw m16 with ACOG dint werk for me. ruff 102 Posted May 1, 2003 since u guys are goin to add goggles like bas goggles like i said before more hitpoints on the chest since they wear vests i believe you should make the googles so that they can be taken off and not shown like wat tow deltas were supposed to do have an option of having the helmet on or off this time goggles can be taken off not on shown of the top of their heads dunno if u guys improved the ai but they seem to engange at a far longer range now how bout engagement range like the lostbros hk pack units coz i really love these units i want to kick any east ass
Major Fubar 0 Posted May 2, 2003 Yeah, wasn't there a foreign legion addon that had troops who could take their helmets off and wear berets...I think they could also put on cammo facepaint...
Jackal326 1181 Posted May 3, 2003 I've updated my M249 with better textures, and a better looking ammo bag. I also added a bipod. Checkout a few screenshots at: http://sjb.ofprc.net/Preview/Images/M249

ruff 102 Posted May 17, 2003 how bout giving the units a very visible vest so that so can add more hit point to the body a black one like wat the deltas use or the ones that were worn by the seals in tears of the sun the actor bruce willis was on
Lt_Phoenix 0 Posted May 18, 2003 @Fubar: It was the Dutch Marines addon by M.Krieland from CoC. Great looking weapons Jackal... Enjoyed messing about with the SRT pack. Especially the MP5's. What I really miss in OFP is a standard MP5 (minus scope and silencer) with retractable stock. The only one out there that I've seen, is the one from Lostbrothers HK pack. Compared to the scoped MP5N you released in your SRT pack, the HK pack MP5's textures doesn't look all that good. Maybe you could make a standard MP5 for your next release? Just have to remove the scope from your existing one, and voila...
Jackal326 1181 Posted May 22, 2003 I'll take that under advisement Lt_Phoenix. I'm currently busy with....well, a secret project for SJB, so work on the SRT Pack is currently on hold for now, but have no fear, it will start again soon, I'm just having a break from it for a while

Jackal326 1181 Posted June 14, 2003 I've updated the M82A1 with a better muzzle flash and other texture tweaks, check out http://sjb.ofprc.net/SRT2/Weapons/Images/SJB_M82A1_UPDT1.jpg for a screenshot. I've also decided to add a PSG-1 pack to the mix, as it is a more popular law enforcement sniper rifle and I felt it might come in handy for the SRT. Screenshots can be found, here, here and here. The PSG-1 Model (and some most textures) are by A-Lone-Wolf and Shrike,
Lt_Phoenix 0 Posted June 15, 2003 Hmmm... ofprc seems to be down, so I can't check out those pics yet. Any news on the M5N (minus scope) ? Looking forward to the next release. Glad I've got Ofpam 1.0, since my addonfolder is rapidly approaching 3 GB
Jackal326 1181 Posted June 27, 2003 I've made and implemented the new MP5-N. Thats the good news, the bad news is however I've had to change the class names, to prevent confusion with regard to addweapons commands etc. This means the SJB_HK.pbo file will not be backwards compatible with the old version. HOWEVER, I am looking into reverting the class names to their old state, and creating a work around for the confusing classes. Check out http://sjb.ofprc.net/SJB_SRT_NEW_Des.jpg for a screenshot of the new Tri-Coloured Desert Camo and new vest. Post your opinions on both below. fighter 0 Posted June 27, 2003 It looks great. I like your units and weapons ! I am looking forward for these modern US units
Landwarrior87 0 Posted June 27, 2003 i like em... but i wish you could put helmets on these guys, i think they would look 100% better for just regular US troops. Everyone seems to be doing Special Forces.. and i like your regular m16 and m4.. and could put those as defualt guns to some good regular infantry. just my wishes...
