these things to actually work? If you do then I can't wait

to go hunting raptors with a tank...mmm...raptor meat...

armor vs dino's is unfair game I say, only use light vehicles/weapons, much cooler

I am really liking this mod idea, anyone read the two JP books?

They are very nice, and differ quite often from the movies.. very good reads imo  

small Q tho, u gonna make the Raptors real sized or movie sized? (in the movie they were 1 meter larger then they were irl) I suggest making them like they were in the movie, more fearsome that way

Yeah. Books are very good. But movies especially second one wasn't anything special. IMHO it's Spielbergs worst movie.

Well i'm calling my raptor deinonychus wich is dinosour from oviraptors family and has exacly same size like JP velociraptors

Seriously, I think all this "my prick's bigger than your's" stuff doesn't lead anywhere - be constructive or ignore it. If you can do it better, then do it instead of wasting all our time by having to read boring insults and accusations.

If someone manages not only to model these beasts, but also to make them move/fight/sound like they are supposed to, then it's a great thing. Not everyone's kind of beef, but fun and a worthwhile addition to OFP's addon variety.

Yes in JP mod will be new sounds ( like in movie sorry for that , but i don't know any better sound , also will be new weaons  , cars ( The explorer for firts part is almost done , need interior and good textures ), islands , misc , plants  also tehay are. ..... more soon

Why not? We can work together. But please no more Trespasser models or textures. As i said before is IMO pretty lame use models from other games.

And i wasn't planning make spinosaurus, so feel free finish it

The "Making Of" Part on the DVD says something like that weeks befor finishing the Movie(JP1) a Raptor Skellet was found in Utah that was bigger than the Movie Raptor.

The Idea of a JP-Mod is Great!

True. I don't mean to turn this into a dino-specs discussion, but technically it's not even a velociraptor (short: 'raptor), it's a dromaesaur (= species belonging to the dromaesauridae family) called Utahraptor (the name is real original ). The tragicomic thing is there actually was a dromaesaur (called Deinonychus) that was the exact size of the movie raptors. Too bad the name was not sexy enough for Crichton, who wrote the book, and the velociraptors too small for the people who made the movie.
