Heatseeker 0 Posted August 4, 2005 I just hope bis isnt looking to buy any stuff from the community for AA to replace the old veihicles They would need to buy art from one team and make sure everything looks the same "style" and quality wise. If the release is close it wouldnt be bad at all, the artists would get rewarded for their talent and work plus their work would reach and delight a very large audience . Geocider 0 Posted August 10, 2005 Hey! Super addon-makers! Do you still need textures of that old soviet rucksack? Got one you see. I've got a russian rainsuit in Gorod too if you are interested. Would be lovely to be able to help. Oh and a double magazine pouch in woodland (the bastards said it was in Les, hah! Oh yeah and a balaclava in Tiger and a Maska Setka in Woodland/Forest pattern. Anything you want me to take pics of/scan? //Geo
AKM 0 Posted August 10, 2005 Which GOROD variation, do you know? (I ask out of curiosity. Of course we'd love to have the scans / pictures if you're willing to provide.)
Shadow NX 1 Posted August 10, 2005 Everything is welcome Geocider. If you want you can contac me via MSN or ICQ and we can talk.
Geocider 0 Posted August 10, 2005 I'll fix some pics of the stuff as soon as I work out how to use our videocam. And it's just GOROD. The first version. That is what SPLAV calls it anyway. The picture pattern is quite small compared to the newer variations and the colour is kinda blueish. 4-colour pattern: two light blues (almost the same) grey and black. The grey and black is almost redbriwn in certain lights. But as said I'll take some photos and transfer them to paa or something. If you want them in any other format write here or PM me. Don't expect something too soon but I'll hurry up as much as I can. Cheers

clausewitz 1 Posted August 16, 2005 Just a question: I want to make a cutscene with one of your T-64 Tanks. I want to make the tank firing his main gun. So I need the name of that gun. Could you tell me that? Yes, I know that T-64 Pack is currently on beta status, but these tanks are excellent, so they should be used in a mission. Thanx! sv5000 127 Posted August 16, 2005 The Marines rock The gun is called...2A46MT64B, or 2A46MT64BV, depending on which model you use.

Shadow NX 1 Posted August 16, 2005 Looking forward to see a mission with the units and the T64 Naval versions as support Clausewitz @SV5000 Thanx for the quick help
clausewitz 1 Posted August 17, 2005 Looking forward to see a mission with the units and the T64 Naval versions as support Clausewitz  Well, in current mission I used them as OpFor. But why not to make an exclusive mission for RHS? Could be the next project. These tanks are really excellent, the problem still is to find attractive OpFor units for an RHS mission. When I decide to make a scenario against western forces like Americans then there is a lack of enemy tanks to face the T-64s. And if I decide to use T-64 on OpFor site as rebel forces there will be the lack of irregular troops for a credible russian scenario. This occurs on many mods at this time. My mission should be for BWMod, but they don't have acceptable OpFor units too. Its a problem of most of the addon groups that they don't take care of OpFor units. So I will have to use the standard BIS resistance fighters. My idea is to use thiese soldier models and to equip them with your weapon pack. Unfortunately I am too dumb to do that. I tried and it was not successfull. Maybe you could do this job until more attractive resistance fighters will be created? The idea behind is to use same WeaponPack when both sides are equipped with russian/soviet military stuff. First step in this direction is your T-64 Pack, which contains tanks for resistance too. Unfortunately thei cause CtD (Crash to Desktop) when placed in the editor. So I cannot use your T-64 tanks on resistance side. Many people don't like the "Russia vs. USSR/Russia" scenario anymore. So they would like to see a "real" russian mission against an enemy of the present. Do you know Saddam's Tchetchen Insurgents from Tropic War Mod? These are an excellent addon for OpFor, but they equipped them with ORCS weapons. And it is inacceptable to use two different but nearly equal-contented WeaponPacks in one mission. Again, every mod has this problem. Until BWMod is finished with a couple of units I want to make my mission for OFrP as playable side. But OFrP is on resistance side. No chance to use OpFor addons on this side too. Well, that's the obstacles on mission making if you want to leave the boring "US vs.USSR" scenario. greez Clausewitz

sv5000 127 Posted August 17, 2005 Shadow NX No Worries, I just wish i was that speedy when it came to making scenarios  ....Was that a Blue Beret I saw
AKM 0 Posted August 17, 2005 Clausewitz: I would highly recommend the BTR-T (v1.1) and MT-LB (2.2, I believe.) addons, in conjunction with EDGE Resistance. Very high-quality, very well suited to the fictional irregular role. The BTR-T has quite the fist; a 23mm automatic cannon and a quartet (4) anti-tank missiles, and pretty safe to be in when the only things flying at you are LAWs or RPGs. There does seem to be a lack of high-quality, "real" OPFOR that aren't focused on the Middle East. Say... Chechens, for example. Â Moving on. Yeah... that does look like a blue beret, doesn't it... and is that a new jacket texture I see? Offhand, I can recall seeing about ten to fifteen VSR-pattern variations, three Kamysh colour variations, and a dozen Podlesok (Reed) colour variations. Quick pointer regarding VSR, since I see this question asked a lot (Although not here): If it runs vertically, it's probably VSR.
