cam0flage 0 Posted September 22, 2003 Weekly (des)Information NoteComrade Bitsonnov ansewers your questions. As much as censorship allows. :] Hey comrade, you skipped my question! I need to know! Quote[/b] ]Here's a question: Will AI troops equipped with assault rifles or machineguns target and fire at the soldiers riding on top of a tank?
Shadow NX 1 Posted September 22, 2003 Dont think it is possible... anyway as soon as someone shoots the tank will go into combat mode and throw the riders off But the player can shoot them so they fall off the tank...
Bobby - CSLA team 0 Posted September 23, 2003 Soul_assasin, your pic about tank evolution is not so correct. T64 had been more advanced tank than T72.
Gollum1 0 Posted September 23, 2003 Still, the T72 "evolved" from the T64. I can´t wait to do what I´ve always dreamed of...replace all the units in the official campaigns with realistic, new units! Your tanks will be the cornerstone of this endeavor!
soul_assassin 1750 Posted September 23, 2003 Soul_assasin, your pic about tank evolution is not so correct. T64 had been more advanced tank than T72. actually T64 was THE first second generation tank thus comes before the T72

Johann "onn" Bitsoenn 0 Posted September 24, 2003 "..." - long development "X" - short development and death "?" - dunnow About T-84, it's Ukrainian modification only as far as I remember. Treat the picture I've posted as just a try to show it all around, may be not perfect, may be even erronous in some parts. It express how I feel it, not how it is. It may be same, it may be not. :]
Sigma-6 29 Posted September 24, 2003 The T-72 was a cheaper, less complicated alternative to the T-64 designed mainly for export. . . the T-80 was a *direct* descendant of the T-64.
Bobby - CSLA team 0 Posted September 26, 2003 Yes, Sigma-6 is right, T64 and T80 were tanks of 1st category, used e.g. in soviet Shock armies and were far more advanced to T72. T72 was second echelon tank, cheap variant which could be produced in thousands in case of war. Development of T72 and T64 was simultaeous and both had different tasks in soviet army...So evolution line is not so staight...
cam0flage 0 Posted September 30, 2003 Almost five days without any posts here. I recently read a book about Finnish radio intelligence during WWII and learned that whenever there is a long period of silence among Russian forces, it means a major offensive is about to begin ;) So, I expect to be overrun by multiple variants of the T-55 soon. ... Please tell me I'm right? :P
raedor 8 Posted September 30, 2003 it depends on your definition of "soon"
