Shadow NX 1 Posted September 17, 2003 I think you really dont need to be a allround artist... there are many many modellers but a lack of good texturers. Please contact me on MSN or ICQ, i would like to see some of your work
Shadow NX 1 Posted September 18, 2003 WE WANT YOU As you can see we need a good modeller with experience in the making of detailled soldiers. Also Texturers are needed because some members wont have much time for RHS for a while due to personal reasons. I hope we find new members that way, you dont need to quit if youre in another mod, partly help would also do. The sooner we get help the sooner we can bring all the great stuff
Sxep 0 Posted September 18, 2003 I send Soul assasin a mail...didn´t respond, maybe because you guys get so much recruits Any way im a Texturer/Skinner and i would like to help you guys out. You can reach me on MSN
Shadow NX 1 Posted September 18, 2003 I think he should add my mail... ShadowNX@gmx.de Im the one with much time on the hands atm  I added you Sxep... anyone else? Teammembers have full access to all stuff and have a huge research team as backup
Shadow NX 1 Posted September 22, 2003 Ok as promised here are some new pics with the tankriders on the T55. Currently we have 9 cargo places on them... is that enough for everyone? I think there is still some space so its possible to transport a entire squad but we will see... Not to forget the Rebels on a T54
edc 0 Posted September 22, 2003 hehe I'd hate to be sitting there in the front when the main gun was fired *ears ringing*
Shadow NX 1 Posted September 22, 2003 When the tanks switch to combat mode and close the hatches the riders jump off imidately.
soul_assassin 1750 Posted September 22, 2003 9 cargo places with respect that: 9 + 3 crew = standard BIS squad
Supah 0 Posted September 22, 2003 9 cargo places with respect that:9 + 3 crew = standard BIS squad humzz that would mean that you would have to have part of your squad man the tank? Wouldnt it be nicer to add 12 cargo spaces to it (if possible or desirable time wise) so a tank can transport an intire squad?
lee_h._oswald 0 Posted September 22, 2003 A tank is a tank and no transporter. Riding on it is useful, so you don´t have to walk. Please no thousands of troops in one tank and no hmmwvs to drive in cargo! MfG Lee

MfG Lee Agreed that is no transporter but if lets say a friendly tank crew offers you a ride i find it hard to imagine they would "Loan" you their tank so you can have three of your crew drive it Just a thought. Wouldnt it be nicer to add 12 cargo spaces to it (if possible or desirable time wise) so a tank can transport an intire squad? I agree. I prefer to use 12-man squads, and just use the "moveInCargo" command. That is, if it doesn't make the tank look too crowded. It sounds like a good idea but isn't the standard OFP squad (you know the ones which you press F2 to get) 9 people anyway.
Gollum1 0 Posted September 22, 2003 A tank is a tank and no transporter.Riding on it is useful, so you don´t have to walk. Please no thousands of troops in one tank and no hmmwvs to drive in cargo! Agreed. Also, it would look wierd to have 12 men in cargo, and it works better for AI (the AI embark again once the battle is won if they´re in the same group with the tank). Question to RHS: Will your future tank/vehicle packs also have the "ride on top" feature?
Lt_Phoenix 0 Posted September 22, 2003 Fair enough. I suppose I can live with transporting my squad with two tanks instead of one. Probably more realistic that way anyway. Didn't think of the troops reembarking the tank after their finished fighting. Deleted my previous post
Supah 0 Posted September 22, 2003 Yeah 2 tanks means you got more firepower backing you up anyway
soul_assassin 1750 Posted September 22, 2003 its up to the mission makers to either make 9 person squads or 12 person squads which include the tank crew. Its actually better to have the tank crew in the squad because if you are riding in the tank you have control of it. Just think about it little update report: the T55s are basically almost 100% bug free, mission and crew are still to be finalized and then there is the present of cource which is also almost done... Gollum1 0 Posted September 22, 2003 basically almost 100% bug free Basically...almost....100% So what does that come to, 75%!? Â
soul_assassin 1750 Posted September 22, 2003 basically almost 100% bug free Basically...almost....100% So what does that come to, 75%!? means that as far as we've tested them we see no more bugs, but u always know that some will surface for the 1.1 update
Shadow NX 1 Posted September 22, 2003 I already found a new one but only a tiny one...
GoOB 0 Posted September 22, 2003 I have a solution, stop searching for bugs and you won't find them Those pictures Shadow NX posted on the combat photography thread have got me all worked up about this pack (I forgot about it for a while, but now you made me remember it, oh the horror!) I am looking forward to this pack, but I hope you will keep it to yourselves until it is a 100% bug free
raedor 8 Posted September 22, 2003 have u ever heard about a 100% bugfree/perfect software?
cam0flage 0 Posted September 22, 2003 Beautiful pictures. Simply stunning. You've done excellent work with the new animations! Here's a question: Will AI troops equipped with assault rifles or machineguns target and fire at the soldiers riding on top of a tank?
GoOB 0 Posted September 22, 2003 have u ever heard about a 100% bugfree/perfect software? Â Â Hehe no, but I think you can make it almost bug free. As when you (RHS) say almost complete. You really mean "You will have to wait alot longer than you think suckers :P) J/K
