Nope, no firefight was going on, in both cases 1 or 2 crew members were sitting in the vehicle with me, and suddenly I'm alone and squad is empty. Looks like instant disbanding of the squad.

No more unplayable vehicles in buy list
Aircraft spawn further along the map borders

Better group cards for support aircrafts (map on hover)
Most aircraft start nearer the aircraft carrier or army center if no carrier

Lot's changes lately!

 

What's new:

 

Improved admin menu (displaying of params)
Lobby parameters are saved (was off)
Side missions start only if players of same side are online
Land vehicle discount trait
Lots of other small changes and bug fixes

And a lot more changes:

 

Updated FOBs: now placed on more even terrain, base weapon gunners are optimized to increase performance, the gunners are now considered as base defenders

Town civilians only spawn when player is near (reduces lag)
Fixed respawn error message
Aircraft loadout tooltips
Optimized FOB placing
Custom mod no longer depends on Apex DLC
AI infantry no longer tries to enter vehicles

Side mission targets no longer have weapons (Better mod compatibility)
Fixed: Groups have better morale near FOB or HQ

When you post here about new releases it would be helpful if you would post the new version number of whatever was updated (mod or mission/s).

 

I'm finding myself confused because the Goggle Drive versions seem to be older than the Steam subscription versions...yet you still have both posted as if its ok to use whatever.

Is there anyway you can keep updating the Steam alternative download files so they are fully updated as your WIP continues?

 

Thanks so much for supporting this for so long! I'm still working on DUWS Modified these days (since 2013 now!).

thx for your reply! yeah the google drive versions are bit outdated and I wrote there that I will update it upon request. But I will update it more often now that there's actually someone using the non-steam version 🙂

 

and I will add the version to the posts in future, thx for the tip!

 

I don't always post here when there is new version because sometimes I make lot of releases in short time period and don't want to spam the forums...

New commander menu that tells what the AI commander is doing
Motorized and mechanized infantry now travels with the vehicle

Not sure if it is a mod, but when I respawned on my dedi, I lost  the MENU in options.  Wierd.  Dedi has no mods running but FoW.  Will retry later.

Yup .. it is one of my clientside mods causing it.  Wierd.  The mission is running very well - I like the medic revive especially!

 

One thing that struck me, was that there were quite a few soldiers running from one capture to the next, while empty trucks moved up the road.  Are they meant to pick up the troops and deliver them to the next capture ?

 

I'm trying to tweak the server settings, so that I don't get rubber banding of friendlies (seen on the map) when I'm far away from them.

Glad you figured it out. I was thinking I should keep a list of incompatible mods

The way the AI currently works is that every squad is for them self, they don't pickup hitchhikers 😉

HI all! How to change params for dedicated server on startup? I found params.h file in mod .pbo, changed it. but it`s not work for me. Thx!

Three sided play mode (Mission parameter)
Player can now play as resistance where resistance has active army

(currently supported mod is apex 3 sides and Tanoa, Altis, Malden maps)

copy and paste them into the server.cfg file under the mission class for the mission you want the params to apply to, per https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3:_Server_Config_File
