GF Ambient Environment Sounds Script

Description:

GF Ambient Environment Sounds Script , create your desired , Ambient Environment.
You are free to do anything but i would like to give me Credits for this!
Simple and easy to use and adapt .
Have Fun !

 


Installation / Usage:

For usage instructions and information of how to use the GF Ambient Environment Sounds Script please refer to the included documentation and/or example mission.

Place in your mission the files . There is everything included , in the initPlayerLocal.sqf and the Description.ext , to copy paste in your mission .

Don't try to open this with the simple notepad.

For everything that is with comment // in front or between /*
means that it is disabled , so there is no need to delete the extra lines.

You can open this ex:
with notepad++
https://notepad-plus-plus.org/

and also use the extra pluggins
(this way will be better , it will give also some certain colours to be able to detect ex. problems )

Notes:

Create your desired , Ambient Environment.
You can add your custom sounds.
It is also included a mod version , posible to unpack and edit.
The sound files including  , day and night ambience according to time.
The script will prevent running , when the player is inside a vehicle or water.
There are sound files for birds , insects and some forest SFX , also
a day and a night ambient loop.

Hey GF.

 

If you have time can you make a edition with winter sounds?

 

I am needing winter sounds . blisserts ect

 

and all vanilla sounds stoppede...

Is this for wilderness sounds only? I have long wanted to do urban sounds, like dogs, radios, etc. Of course all the sound samples could really add up in size. Anyway thanks for this contribution, I will check it out later.

Sorry to blow my own horn, but you should have a look at tpw mods, it does exactly that.

Once i 'll have time i will try to find some sound for winter , i want to find some forest sounds and i was trying to find also some animals , so i will see about.

For the Urban sounds , AZCoder you can check also the TPW mods !

I know about it and it is awesome, but I was looking for something that could be distributed specifically with my campaigns for the benefit of other players. Do you allow distribution of a single module inside of a campaign for that purpose?

Do you have your earthquake script in this too? I have this on my mission but NOT the earthquake mission. Yet the earth shakes. Does that go along with your color correction script? I have opened both and do not see anything like that. but its weird. earthquakes but no code for it.

No i haven't add the earthquake script ,

are you playing exile or reediting a mission that there is this code?

 

The GF Ambient Environment Sounds Script is only sounds.

earthquakes as in caused by camshake? the effect might be used to simulate earthshake, just an idea tho

uh sweet discovery... i ll try to use this script to figure out how to disable Environment sounds and add cave sounds, or sounds for Underground Locations in general (maybe rats running, water droppleds...)

i should stalk your threads more often george!!;)

I tried with this script to add a Dayz  SA sound like and as i was playing this for a long time , i think that it's way more better with the 3d sound of arma !
