MP Studio 0 Posted March 18, 2003 I think the war will start in the next 40 hours. I dont know if iraq has missiles which can reach Israel, but i dont think so. But if Israel sends troops against iraq, they must be prepared to loose soldiers. But i hope saddam goes to saudi arabia... but he wont do it... I hope the war ends quickly and with a minimum of civil deaths

Balschoiw 0 Posted March 18, 2003 I think it makes a big difference if they are there. Why? If they are there Israel is in state of war with Iraq. If they are not there Israel is not in state of war with Iraq. Easy. Should make a big difference for your country, or not ?

We've had 39 of them so far. How many have you enjoyed? Oh - and that wasn't a state of war, of course. And non-fired Iraqi scuds have some statute of limitations if they're not fired within a few years of there being hidden. Once again, this could all be war fiction. Jinef 2 Posted March 18, 2003 Well i just got in - bloody hell 4 pages to read! I am pretty sure we will be going in to Iraq, if however we get out of it somehow then i'm sure we will still offer assistance just on a low profle level.

WhoCares 0 Posted March 18, 2003 I don't doubt that the USA will win this war. Or better, they will declare victory at a certain state. As they did in Afghanistan. Who cares, that there is only one or two supposed to be somewhat safe zones in Afghanistan and the rest is under the control of various warlords. The only different to the soviet occupation and now is, that the invading forces leave the warlords alone and the warlords don't care about Kabul and run their own businesses. I guess the same will happen in Iraq. It is not that they will be seen as the liberators by many people, but more as invaders. Due to the overwhelming strength there will be little open opposition but more attacks of individuals or small groups. But the US-controlled government will control the big business and that's everything that counts...

KingBeast 0 Posted March 18, 2003 Hmm strangely im actually beginning to feel sorry for old mr Blair, as it is he gets a lot of stick for being "Bush's lapdog" and such, but who do we have to replace him? His popularity has really been slammed by this whole Iraq thing, but I certainly wouldnt want to see him resign. He hasnt been such a bad PM in my opinion. War is inevitable now, so I will be thinking of and offering moral support to any of those that will be taking part. Why? Because at the end of the day, the soldiers are doing their jobs, whether or not for they are fighting for the right reasons isnt really their decision. And i dont just mean the Americans and Brits, I support even the Iraqi soldiers. At the moment no one likes Tony Blair, but if someone invaded Britain claiming to get rid of our bad leader, I know that I wouldnt just sit back and let it happen! Junior health minister Lord Hunt was this morning followed out of the government by the middle-ranking home office minister, John Denham. It later emerged that Anne Campbell, the Labour MP for Cambridge, had also resigned from her role as parliamentary private secretary to the trade and industry secretary, Patricia Hewitt.
