I wouldn't by ArmA if there are any restrictions in Mod/Addon possibilities. 1. You don't have to download crappy addons 2. You don't have to join servers with addons/mods in MP I always play Multiplayer without any addons, except of MFCTI perhaps. I don't have any problems to find a good server, there are at least 4 German servers regulary with 4 players at min. in the afternoon and evenings ... The idea about a better filter system is good. Something like that the currently needed addons are shown in a list.

You might try to assign more memory to OFP. I had crashes until I lifted up the reserved memory from 512 MB to 1024 MB (I have 1536 MB RAM) ... up until now, OFP didn't CTD anymore in any occasion.

Looks great, everything you do. I would help, but I am really not experienced in texturing and time is short. What exactly do you need? I have some skill in modelling in OË›, working with WRP Tool and the OFP-intern Mission editor ...

I think that is wanted, the new lamps will react to daytime, while the editorplaceables always are just campfires one may lit

@Apollo: Mr Burns is as german as I am Actually, Tornados exist in various versions. As for earthquakes, I don't think they are possible to do, because they would require a modification of the island structure ... Vulcanos ... yes, with drop effects and a whole lot of scripts btw: It is Fingerspitzengefühl

Mapfact is working on translating their site into English language. Their is a small GB Flag directly next to the german one on mapfact.net. But it will take some time, as you might understand. Lets hope mapfact gets the very few bugs fixed soon, anyway, great work again!

I like the BAS Stuff, but i prefer Inquisitors Weapons. If you put the Deltas and Rangers together with Inq High Detailled Weapons its amazing. Than the APC Beta Pack of AK74M makes a lot. The Baracken Addon of course. Well i think that are my actual favorite Addons.
