Yea your right..it was the first time i release an addon..so i never expected that things would be such a hassle..but he we gotta deal with them. I will be making some more models in my free time though. Col. Klink showed me his realy nice Sea Kings and that kinda made me wanna make more planes.

I'll keep you updated on the status of the F-15E.

BTW, I played around with that already released version and made my own little missions.. I had great fun with it. The plane looks really great and I think it is handling very good! Looking forward to the final release so I can do some bombing missions too.

Any updates on the F15? and what ever happened to that old mig that someone made. They said that they where going to fix the bugs in that, and they never did put out a new version.

ahh well that's because i actually did finish the bugs...but never got round to making new textures. Also, there was a Res bug which couldnt show the addon in the editor or just crashed the game for some people. I've got more and better things to do

The F15 is going to be re-released either later today or early tommorow. Most if not all bugs have been fixed (not that there were many to crush)...

for those of u who had the chance to see the ugly model..this is what we fixed.

1- Fixed sound..make it lower form out side.

2- Fixed sound inside..make it zero..remove it.

3- decreased AGM-130 power to detroy only 2 or 3 tanks.

4- Decreasd power of GBU-12 to destroy 1 tank..or 2 if they were very close.

5- Made the nuke fall slower..so ppl can have time to escape.

6- Reduce aircraft armor. by half.or 40%.

7. texture some surfaces in cockpit..

did we forget anything else?

Me want bombs!!! LOL. Did I hear the word "nukes"? Has my Operation flashpoint dream come true? The big kaaaaaaaaabooooooooooooooom? That would be sweet to microwave anything that thinks its bad enough to oppose my forces. Thats what I like about the U.S. it will just smart bomb a building in a city without even touching the one next to it! I love it. They'll bomb Iraq and do it with in an exacting fasion. They can blow up a command & control center and not even touch the school next door. God bless America.

Sorry. I found the pics. Nukes! Sweet. Thats one large city extra crispy coming up! Thanks Dead soldier. Those LGBs are nice. Love the hud and look of the plane itsself. I'm going to dream to a massive bombing run involving 20 or more planes with AI nuking every major city on say Everon with me as [hopefully] living witness. I'll tour the devistation "the day after". Iknow I sound like I'm a wheelchair bound Peter Sellers character [Dr. Strangelove] but I just love that massive destrutive power I see on the news and putting it to use in OFP. Nobody think I'm a pshyco or anything. BTW. Please tell my mother I'm off to help someone with her shower. Just kidding.

Man we really need that Mig 29 to balance out the airforces now.  It's a great looking plane so I'd hate to see all that work go to waste.  Did you fix the lagging issue for it?

yeah, i had a new model but wanted to make new textures. I'm sure deadsoldier is much more talented in doing planes and should go on with his own project of the MiG-29. I made the old MiG-29 out of a significant lack of knowledge and research, so I have to admit, it wasnt that enough.

But hey, I agree with all of you, OFP needs a russian aircraft to balance things out on the East. I've tried to make a dogfight in OFP many times and it comes to my unpleasant duty to put a russian in a West aircraft, which is not at all realistic, as you know.

Is it very hard to change the "Side" of a vehicle? I just hope deadsoldier decides to do the Mig or some other comparable Soviet aircraft after this one. Personally I think the Soviet aircraft are every bit as cool as the U.S. ones, but for some reason not too many ppl have concentrated on them.

Still, your current Mig looks great. Was it just a high poly count that caused lag? I've never done the modeling bit, but I used to do missions for Counter-strike and some other Half-life mods, so I know all about rspeeds, i.e. poly counts in regard to 3-D objects.

I did some dogfighting with the Mig and the F-14's and I put up 5 Migs and didn't seem to have any lag issues with it, but then again my PC is a 2.8 gz with a GF-4 Ti4600.

Just go into the mission.sqm find an F15 that doesnt have player in it and change the side from west to "EAST"
