Is there any Alternative links like armaholic? Because I cant download it on steam workshop even when im subscribed its not showing up

will look into this, as am getting them on my end. Though only tested on a lan with 2 pc's

Looks like I will have to rent a cheap server here :(

@kaysio you could just install the dedicated server package on your pc and use this for testing:

Just came off hosting my own dedicated server { 2nd pc running arma server with TADST + CBA + Headless + upnp}

 

[2nd pc: AMD 8350fx + 16gb ddr3 + ssd + 280x]

 

Intel spawns correctly, with markers appearing on map with distance.

AI spawns correctly - no crazy spawning hopfully fixed.

Red zones capture

 

 

I tested this for about 30mins, Im not saying its working perfect but I cant replicate the problems others are getting.

 

I used this video for setting up.

you should add that the Insurgency_(N) version requires cba ;>

Taking a little break from this, it doesnt matter what I try something breaks.

 

Spent all day rewriting everything, only to have new bugs appear.

At the moment the spawning ai is so random, it either spawns correctly in the red zones or not spawn at all or never ending spawning.

 

 

A new bug appeared : random ai fired at the jeep and it decided to float up into the sky.

 

 

If anyone wants to take this on, all the files are in my google drive for downloading.

I know cant switch off from it, spent 3am till around 7pm trying to sort this out.

Just need a break from it.

 

Ive uploaded my latest version to steam workshop and to my google drive.

Though be aware the ai spawning is so random at the moment.

Back from the long break, a complete overhaul of this mission.

It may contain bugs, so just let me know.

 

There is still future content to be added to this, so be patient with me.

all i can suggest is to balance your time. if you spend all modding time on bug-smashing you will get burned out. ensure you are always working--in some capacity--on the fun stuff, and switch to different tasks frequently. 

 

im currently on 2 week break from arma modding, balance is good

I wish I had the patience and skill. I began to learn to script, but I took a break and haven't been back to it since.  I'm not sure I'm cut out to code if I'm honest.  I'm 46 so I'm wondering if I'm too old to grasp it.

Nice port.  Please dear god take the intro music out.

 

 

Done a quick hot fix, you can now select in the params at the lobby to turn off music.

Its on by default though.

TBH, though, you should just get rid of the intro music.  At least shorten it to 5 or 10 seconds.  And move the view distance up to at least 3k.

 

View distance can go upto 4k, sits at 2500 by default

 

I can look into putting in a 3rd option to disable intro in the params.

You can now choose your opposing forces, though you will need supported addons to use them : CUP + RHS

The mission will run fine, if you dont select CUP or RHS
