Well, the Arma 3 project leadership changed this year, so the lack of PR may be the new PR strategy.

In any case, if they keep the first half of the year as releasing window, we'll soon know about it, maybe on release day. :D

With the leadership, I remember reading somewhere, also the marketing guy (as being his brother) would move to their new site in Amsterdam and be of the game (to work on new games). Did they fotget to hire a new guy?

"The dutchies" are still fully supporting ARMA3 team as they did before, only difference is now from Amsterdam ;-) DNA/Joris Jan is officially no longer project lead but still supporting the current leader in anyway he can see all the rep's ;-)

I agree with everyone that it's really time for some intel (even small visual details in a screenshot would be great at this point), but I also know that the devs are working their *sses of trying to get the expansion sorted and ready for release.

I do hope that the intel where the BI twitter account said verry soon: "so close you don't even know it"....... I do hope this means today or maybe tomorrow before the new "rep" comes out.

It's just over 3 weeks before release now and I have full trust in the A3 devs but also this has been a new way of working for them..... normaly things would leak (intentionally from time to time) to make us happy and speculate even more on upcoming DLC's, only things we can speculate on are some "minor" confirmed things, dev-branch features that are beeing tested and the new "ARMA3 APEX preset controlles" that are already on the list on the stable version.

I won't be begging for intel but I really hope they are working on something that will be mind blowing as that would explain the silence as they really want to keep it as a big hyped suprise.

That's not an MX guys, looks more like a HK 416 or AR15 variant. Definitely an AR15 receiver.

OK, aside of it the style of "ARMA3" text looks like CTRG camo, so I think it will be focused on CTRG too.

Nope, it looks like a green ARCO.

 

It's the HAMR (in-game RCO).

 

 

Don't forget that the artwork is pretty saturated, so don't assume that the CTRG camo or optics are green just yet either.

The NVGs are very future Tech. Google Alex Jessup he had some NVGs-that had the same look and feel. The full face helmet is based on real life ballistic face shield. Just Google Ballistic face protection. It does exist. I am not sold on the CTRG camo...likely a  CTRG protagonist. Likely no US Marines. Pity since ambphibious ops is their Baby; unless they aim for the British Royal Marines.
